Dear stranger,

You don't know me. I don't know you. We see each other around. Old friends who no longer are. People who used to speak regularly but no longer do. Faded glimmers of friendships past.

Things didn't end because of anything. We just drifted. The melancholy way of life I suppose, the splitting of people we used to know oh so well, the girl you used to sit now. Everyone is so far away now. We've all changed so much.

But stranger, we can always talk. It's been so many years but my faith in you does not waver. My faith in people has not wavered, only grown stronger. There's lots we don't know about each other but that's not a sign to stop trying is it. Nothing wrong with still trying out a long ago friendship.

Love, the one you once knew.
