I still wasn't talking to Harry so I came with Hermione and Neville

"While your here, your house will be like your family, your triumphs and achievements will provide your house points while any sign of disobedience or misbehavior will lose them. At the end of the year, all the points will be evaluated and whoever gained the highest points will win the house cup. Now I will leave you for a short time and see if they are ready" professor mcgonagall informed

"So is it true then?! Harry Potter has come to Hogwarts? Hi, I'm Draco Malfoy" I turned on my heel and faced drake. Then Ron snorted.

"Think my name's funny don't you? I don't have to ask who you are! Red hair! Freckles! Hand me down robes, you must be another weasley!" With that I lost my temper and slapped him square in the face. People from behind me gasped and whispered 'Kathlyn Black'. I yanked drake's neck tie and whispered to his ear

"I thought you were better than this" I whispered so only he can hear.

"But your the worst boy I've ever met and I have met thousands!" Now I shouted. He looked ashamed. Good. He should be.

In the sorting

"Hey, kath" Harry greeted unsure like. I didn't look him twice, and I quickly talked to Neville.

"Harry Potter!" Then I couldn't resist so I flashed him a smile which he returned. It took the hat long until it finally shouted

"Gryffindor!"

"Kathlyn Black!" Then the Hall broke down into whispers. 'Hmm... Where to put you? Not a bad mind you've got, got a pure heart, yes. Inherited your father's bravery but you really will do well in slytherin' 'no, not slytherin' 'are you sure? you'd do great things and slytherin will help you, no doubt'

"Gryffindor!" I walked over the Gryffindor table and got congratulated by everyone. Known and unknown.

"For a moment there, I thought you killed the hat necky!" I looked beside me to see no other than my Harry.

"You should be more worried with your life than the hat's. Just remember we share a common room I can kill you in your sleep heady!" I teased him.

"Aaaawwww.... You two look so cute together!" A voice said who I assume belong to Hermione

"Kat and Harry sitting on a tree K-I-S-S-I-N-G" the twins sang together. I can't help but feel blood rise to my cheeks.

"Oh she's blushing!" Ron shouted. Then the next thing I know, the whole Gryffindor table were teasing me. And the worst part, Harry was being cocky like,

"Oh, so you couldn't resist me now can you necky?" I can't take too much embarrassment anymore so I quickly asked Percy the password and laid down my bed where I can find my trunk.

Harry P. O. V.

"So Harry, do you really like kitty?" The twins are already intruding my privacy.

"Woah. Don't worry Harry your secret's safe with us" I love her. But I think she got mad when I was being cocky. I don't know where I got the cockiness from.
