"...there's no separation between us, no spot where I end and he begins, and I open up like a flower to the rain, achingly slow and dizzyingly fast, dissolving in the warmth, dissolving in him and there's nothing to see, that's just the convenient word he used because there is no word to describe him, he just is. " - The 5th Wave

Slowly Parker carried Athena into one of the sitting area's April's garden had. The area covered by a thick glass over the top and with a metal thorns shaped as a door. A long bench in the middle going around the area like a spiraled staircase. Leaves covering the walls with thick green and yellow colors. A rain forest inside a small shack.
Parker puts Athena on the bench both of them enchanted and living in a world where only they exist. Where no boundaries are set. They both stand like Adam and Eve, but they don't hide from their nakedness. They start kissing it, precious to each other. Diamonds in a land covered in sand.
"I'm not falling in love." Athena whispers craning her neck back as Parker places soft warm kisses. As Parker kisses the burden he is away. He kisses the world away, one problem at a time.
"I'm already in love." Athena says and slowly they become one. Parker and Athena melted and molded to each other. No end to Athena and no beginning to Parker. Like the goddess Athena was wise, but Parker felt he could feel the real goddess Athena was beautiful- inside and out. Like a flower she blossomed in a garden. She blossomed like a dahlia, beautiful, whimsical.
Their tongues waltz with each other in a fairy tale while their bodies mold to each other and for Parker everything was too good to be true. The voices in his head are drowned into the love that connects Athena and Parker. No end and no beginning. No difference.
For once Parker doesn't hear them shouting. Doesn't hear them screaming. He doesn't see what others can't. He's normal to himself. And he doesn't want this fantasy to end. This delusion he's caught it in, he wants it to be real. He knows in his mind it's as real as it's going to get.
Parker kisses Athena to her ear and softly in a whisper he involuntarily admits, "I will always love you."
Because Parker was in love before he knew it, because Parker didn't know love until then and it was then when he knew he'd always love Athena. Even when she evaporated into the wind.
