(Damien's POV)
We'd been in the woods for hours, we were trying to come up with a plan but Pip got bored and fell asleep. I ended up making a fire so we wouldn't catch cold. I was still shivering though, I looked over at Pip.
"I could use him as a way to stay warm." I say to myself.
I pull the sleeping Pip closer to the fire, and lay down next to him. I lay facing the sky, while Pip was asleep on his side next to me. Pip wrapped his arms around me in his sleep, I blushed and hid my face in the collar of my coat.
'Wait, it's okay. He's asleep.' I thought to myself.
I removed my face from my collar and turned onto my side and wrapped my arms around Pip's waist. I starred at the soundly sleeping blonde haired boy. I smiled lightly and gently kissed Pip's forehead.
"I won't let them kill you, I promise. I will protect you."
