I woke up in a room with white walls and the night sky as the ceiling. My own room.
I can feel him looking at me so I turned to look at him. His beautiful face is tear-stricken and bruised but he's fine. I made sure of that.
"Amu... I'm okay." I told him. I knew I wasn't convincing but we both know I'm lying anyway. Nothing is okay.

I'm exhausted. I just closed my eyes again. Tomorrow's going to be tougher for both of us. Before I drifted back to sleep, l heard him ask me to speak his name. I just squeezed his hand holding mine. I felt his tears on my face and his forehead on mine.

"Please..." He begged. His voice broken as he looks at the moment.

I opened my eyes and willed him to keep his eyes on mine. Assuring him he'll remain who he really is.

This'll be the last time I get to say it. The last time he'll ever hear it.

From me.

From anyone.

If only there's any other way, I wouldn't have him involved but I am desperate. I'm so sorry Amu. I let out a sigh. Tomorrow he can no longer be...

"Samuel. Samuel Saav."

Because he will lose it to become an Evis. My Evis.
