I tossed it once,

it slapped me twice

flogged me mercilessly

promised I will be great

I saw nothing

but a faded heart

swindled by differences

I guess I now understand

once bitten twice shy

........

I tossed it again

it praised me thrice

gave me a peaceful heart

clothed me endlessly

fed me with wisdom

I then saw something

Yeah! A vivid gift

now with acquired knowledge

I am impacted

on the two sides of a coin.....
