I simply cant resist the touch of your lips
your soft skin against mine
finding it hard to keep track of time but knowing that each second with you is a confirmation that what we have is real and true
looking into your eyes trying to find proof that im not dreaming
seemingly impossible but i hold onto this feeling for as long as I can knowing all too well that love can either define or destroy you
who knows.
maybe you'll be able to say I love you without doubting yourself
one day you'll find comfort in my arms and realise there is no one else you would rather be with
ive seen it, but only in my dreams
you see ive got it all figured out in my mind
but reality is still lagging behind
my soul searching for the secret of your heart but
im afraid of what I might find
just promise me one thing?
if life should ever bring us apart
know in your heart that my love will always stay
nothing can take that away.
