-It's Feb. 14th 2002,

And kissed my furrowed brow and smoothed my hair,

It was early February, 2002; the streets were painted red and white,

-While all others rejoiced, I feared my wife's life would soon take flight,

I should be happy,

Happy that I had her for forty years and some,

But I am sad,

No one else cared.

That may have been my fault though,

To be foreign from our family, friends,

A decision I would now live to regret,

I gambled and lost...

Now my wife is dying

And I'm drowning in debt.
