Pain

Isabelle was sitting around when her phone rang. It was Magnus. Before she let him continue, Alec needed to be present.  "Alec!" She yelled for him.

Alec came soon after and asked what was wrong.

"It's Magnus. I think it's about Clary."

"Well let the warlock speak iz!" He told her.

Magnus was on the phone and began to speak.
"After trying to track Clary for a day or two, I now guarantee she she is 1 mile within our area."

"That's it!" Alec yelled at the device.

"I'm sorry, but it's as much as I can. Sebastian has strong magic blocking his location."

The siblings both sighed.
"Okay, thanks Magnus." Isabelle said.

Izzy hung up the phone and looked at her brother.
"You know we need to tell Jace."

"Yes I know that. Guess I better."Alec pointed out as he started for Jace's room.

As he walked upstairs he was think of how to approach his parabatai. He knocked the door. Jace slowly came and answered.

"Jace th-"

"Alec I'm not in the mood."

"Listen Jace! Magnus managed to something out about Clary."

Jace's eyes blew wide open.
"Where is she Alec? Tell me!"

"Unfortunately we only know that she is within 1 mile of us."

"Nothing more specific?? Well that's a start.
I'll be back."

"Jace, where are you going?"

"To go look." Jace said with determination.
He walked out the door very firm and solid.

        It must have been a few hours since Jace left to go possibly find his Clary. With his speed rune it didn't take as long. Though, there was no sign of her. Heading back to the institute without her was frustrating.

     Jace came back and headed straight to his room. After announcing his fail to find anything new on Clary's whereabouts. Falling on his bed he saw a note. It was from Sebastian.

        As you know, Clary is here with me. She still has hope for you which is pretty pathetic. You won't find her. She puts up a good fight if you didn't know, but not good enough. I'm not sure if she has 3 broken ribs or 4. Anyway just thought to give an update.

Jace ripped the piece of paper into shredded pieces of nothing and threw them in anger.  Pain shot in his heart longing for him to find her.  But where?
Darkness came over him as he forced himself some rest.

Sorry short chapter. Needed to update something though. Lots of school work happened this past week.  Almost done with next chapter.
