Stay Calm

Hey guys hope your enjoying the story so far.
So, how did you guys like the season finale of Shadowhunters a couple weeks ago? Anyone ready for 2? I am!

   Clary ran through every hallway to find Izzy. It was like a maze and was relieved when she found her.

"Izzy!" She yelled running to her.

"What, what is it Clary? Where's Jace?"

She looked all worried and terrified all at once.

"Clary calm down. Tell me what's happening? She said.

"We saw a demon in the theatre when you guys left then we made our move to leave as well and we were jumped by two demons, one Jace killed, and Jace was protecting me and all and then one demon took Jace down and they kept fighting. He told me to run and find you! What if he's hurt? Oh God I'm so stupid, why did I even leave?" Saying rapidly

"Okay Clary you did the right thing first of all. Stay here. Simon should be here in like less than a minute from bringing the van. I'm gonna go get Jace. Promise."

She looked at Clary with a small smile and then dashed into the "maze"  to go help Jace.

Simon walked through the doors asking Clary what was wrong. She explained to him in more detail and her best friend gave a hug.

"Thanks."

"What if we get Magnus to help? I mean yeah we could wait to get them and go in my van, or we go and Magnus can portal them, even heal them if need be." Simon suggested.

Clary nodded and she called Magnus and asked him for the favor. He accepted and said he would be there in a couple seconds.
They left in his van.

Izzy reached to Jace who was on the floor fighting still. She pulled out her whip and slashed the demon off of him. He took in a deep deep breath and stood up taking his one chance, stabbing the demon right in the heart.

"By the Angel your alright."

"Where's Clary?"

"I told her to wait with Simon by the lobby when he brought the van around." She explained.

She went over to Jace helping him walk back to the lobby telling him to take it easy. When they got there both clary and Simon were not there. They were replaced by Magnus.

"Magnus? Where are they?" Jace looking at him as well about to ask the same question.

"They suggested they start heading back to the institute while I come heal you two and portal you back."

Jace was given some heals from spells that Magnus performed which wouldn't take that long to fix him up. He was only a little sore. Magnus opened up a portal escorting the Shadowhunters through leading them straight back to the institute.

Simon and Clary started heading home in the new looking van. The band had painted it jet black to draw something else on it. It wasn't quite finished yet. The two talked as also Clary was slowly trying to calm down and think of seeing Jace when she got back. That didn't get to happen.

The last thing Clary saw was bright light heading straight for them and Simon yelled her name once before she was swept into darkness.

Hey sorry this chapter is short. Didn't want to bore you by stringing this chapter along. Next chapter is almost ready :)
