They went downstairs seeing Alec and Izzy. Alec was standing in front of the counter eating while Isabelle was eating bits by bits as she was so caught up in her phone probably texting Simon. Clary sat down and Jace brought both of their boxed to where they sat. What felt like five seconds into eating Clary's phone was buzzing on the counter. She looked over and saw Simon as the ID.
"It's Simon!" Clary announced.
"Go ahead pick it up!" Isabelle told her.
"Hey Simon! I know I'm fine. It's okay don't feel bad. N-n-no-no you couldn't help it. Yeah we can sometime really soon. Promise. Yea. Oh really! They did? Well I'll be sure not to get on your bad side so you don't send vampires out to kill me. Bye Simon!"
"That seemed like and interesting talk." Jace said.
"It was fine. Simon is the new leader of the vampire clan now. He does also feel really bad about the accident. I knew he didn't mean it though."
"Meant it or not, if it was anyone else I would have hunted him down and killed them by no-"
"Jace! It's over let's just drop the incident." Clary suggested. They continued eating and talking.
"Oh Jace, challenge me sometime to do some hand-to-hand combat?" Alec asked.
"Why so you can prove how great I am?" Jace's laughed.
Alec glared and and just said "We will see." continuing to eat.
Clary finished her meal and ran up to her room to change real fast. "Dang. She loves you so much." Alec said to Jace.
"Yeah, she is my life and I was thinking of giving this." He pulled out a box that contained a ring.
"OMG JACE!"
"Shhhh" Jace told him. "You think she will?"
"Of course."
"Thanks bro."
