We looked everywhere on floors 1 and 2 first. But he wasn't there. This was likely a murder, and Bash was easily a target.
But then there's Sukio.
And by the looks of it, no one here would have the skill to even take him down. Furs that's what you get for being a serial killer and not a guard and doctor.
But everyone except Bash was here. We were unsure of what to do, so we split into groups, with me, Sub and Okward in group 1, and Adam, Caveman and Brice in group 2. They were

"Bash! What on Minecraftia are you doing!?" I hissed
"I'm done. I don't want to be here. So I'm leaving."
I was shocked. "Then why use the machine?!"
So I can go, but Sukio can stay. See you on the flip side."
And with that, the machine activated. It fired a light blue laser at him. And then there was Sukio.
"Huh? Bash is gone so soon? Well, I'm happy to be out. Oh, fish! I didn't see ya there. Did Bash pass out?" Sukio said really really quickly.
I didn't know what to say. "Uh... He used a machine and got zapped from existence."
Sukio paused. "Oh. Does that mean I am the one in control? Of me and Bash?"
"Well, Bash will never come back so... Yeah. I guess so."
