-"Another morning's over at last! says Lucy to her best friend, Jane. I just can't wait! I've got a rehearsal with the band tonight, I'm so excited! You know how I love playing music with them!

- Oh my god! You only ever think about it! Tonight, I don't have anything planned, except for TV, dinner and... sleeping.

- I have a music concert on Sunday, at the music hall, at half past five p.m. I'll play Vivaldi's "Four Seasons". Will you come?

-What do you think!? I'm your best friend and #n°1 fan! Of course I will!

-I knew I could count on you!"

And the two friends head towards the canteen to eat. Today's menu: Lasagna+pasta+beans (optional: vegetables are on the side of the plate, only a few aliens eat them.) Jane has taken some semolina for starters, then Lasagna AND pasta as a main course and a chocolate waffle for dessert. The two girls are sitting opposite each-other on a small table.

-"Well, as I can see, today's menu is really light!

-Lucy! You are mad, as well as becoming anorexic! Look at you! You look like a tooth-pick!"

Indeed, Lucy has taken salad for starters, potatoes she will not eat, and beans as a main course and a tiny apple for dessert.

-Me!? Firstly,: you're as crazy as me. Plus: I don't want to be obese and full of acne for Sunday's concert.

-But you're perfect! Your skin is as spotless as a baby's and you're really beautiful! I think quite a few guys have fallen for you!

-Yeah! And I don't want to lose all these things.

- A few strands of pasta and three potatoes won't kill you.

-Why not?

-Lucy, you're too hard on yourself.

-I want to be beautiful, and famous.

-But you don't need to poison yourself for it! Is Emma Watson anorexic? No! And Lindsey Stirling? Does she say no to a piece of chocolate cake? No! She eats cereals all the time! Live your life Lu! Live to eat, don't eat to live! So please, please do this for me: eat this semolina, Jane orders in a stern voice.

-Ok... you're right." And she grabs the plate that her friend hands her and empties it (secretly admitting it's delicious).

      -"Lucy? Are you with us?

We are in history lesson and the teacher just woke here up.

-What? Em... yes! You were talking about the Norman conquest..."

"Oh my god, shame... now all the classroom is looking at me... Luckily I was listening a bit. I never sleep in class normally, but I'll admit this lesson is really boring..."

She looked at Jane and tells her she's back on earth. However, the last 30 minutes were torture for her, and she hardly listened to a sentence the teacher said. The last 10 minutes, she was longing for her violin and the only thing she wanted was to play violin and let the melody carry her away...

DRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIING!

Less melodious sound. Well, when you think about it, it must certainly be the teenager's favorite sound. Lucy jumps out of her chair, puts back her books in her bag, grabs her violin and goes in the corridor, followed by her friend who didn't manage to do these as quickly as her.

-"Hey! Wait for me! you're hyper-excited tonight!

-It was the most boring lesson of my entire life! Well, bye, see you tomorrow!"

Because Jane and Lucy aren't in the same bus, they quit each other here. Lucy sits at her usual seat and puts on her headphones. She listens to "Crystallise" and "Sebonzakura"  and, secretly, with her left hand, she plays the notes, like if she were holding a tiny invisible violin in her hands.

Here is a first chapter published!!! I hope you like it!!

Thank you very much to yoratou who helped me to translate this story from the original french one I wrote ("Amitié musicale"). I am bilingual (and french) but Yora is still better in english than me! (message to Yora: please don't say the contrary, it would be false!)
