I loved April. April was everything fresh and new. April meant light green grass and pale blue skies and baby animals and that winter had finally came to an end. Overall, spring was my favorite time of the year.

In April though, Luke was distant. He insisted nothing was wrong, but  I figured it was because we had spent so much time together recently. We needed a break. And that was okay, even if I didn't feel the same way. I didn't want to force him to spend time with me if he didn't want to.

So during this, I threw myself into school. The school that I needed to catch up on, considering my precious actions. I needed to catch up on a lot to be able to graduate, so I had a goal in mind.I still couldn't help but stay up late every weekend, wondering if Luke would come in through my window.
