She didn't really want to do this, but she wanted to see if date had given her another chance. She wanted to see if her and Jefferson were true love. Jefferson gave her a kiss before leaving the room. A few minutes passed and Henry walked in, offering a small smile.

"Is it almost ready?" He asked.

"Yeah," she said sadly.

She had her doubts, love was always taken from her. Even in her brightest and happiest moments a dark cloud of fate would snatch the things she loved and rob them from her. She was always robbed from happiness.

"Mom? Are you okay?" He asked, touching her arm.

"Yes Henry. I'm fine," she assured, hugging him while giving him a long kiss on the forehead.

"You sure?"

She hesitated, knowing that there was a chance she'd never see him again. "Yes I'm sure."

Regina walked out of the room, the sleeping curse prepared.  She shared a small smile with Grace, walking over to her, enveloping her with a hug.

"I love you Grace," she said, holding her chin.

"I love you too," Grace said.  Jefferson, Henry, and Grace were suspicious though.

"Re-" Jefferson began before Regina slammed her lips against his.  He was a bit confused, he didn't mind the kiss at all, but something was up.  They said their "I love yous" before she walked over to the needle.

She took it gently, dipping it in the vial of sleeping curse liquid.  She placed a warm hand on David's arm, giving him a sad smile, knowing what she was about to do.

   "Okay I'm ready," he said.

"Wait gramps!  Take this," Henry encouraged, giving him the necklace.

"Thanks kid," David said, hugging his grandson.

"Alright now I'm ready," he said clapping his hands together.

David pointed his finger out towards the needle.  Before David's finger was pricked by the needle, Regina jumped in front of him and pressed her finger into the needle, drawing blood.

   "Regina!"  Jefferson yelled.

   "Mom!"  Grace and Henry shouted.

Jefferson caught Regina as her body went limp in his arms.  "Why?"  He whispered.

David and Gold had a shocked expression.  Although Gold was quite amused.  So amused that he just smirked. Henry and Jefferson were scared, scared of what would happen to Regina.  Gold didn't care and David had some care for her.  After all he saw her fall in love and that showed her softer side which he preferred.

Jefferson put an arm around the middle of her back and under her knees.  He placed her gently on the cot and put a lock of hair behind her ear.

Tears started to fill his eyes as he looked over his cursed lover.  David took off Henry's necklace and gave it to Jefferson. "Here, so she won't feel the flames as much."
