°Toby POV°
I see Jace being taken away by some girl with a mask.
I don't even grab my hatchets I just run towards them.
"Mama!" Jace calls to me.
The girl turns around to face me.
I run up to them and I punch her in the stomach.
She coughs and drops Jace. I push him behind me.
She runs up to me and pushes me down. Then kicks me in the stomach.
I grab her ankle and yank her down.
Slender appears in front of us.
"Kate. Toby."
Her name is Kate?
He pulls us up to our feet.
"Kate. Why are you taking this child?"
She just stares at him.
I turn to Jace and pick him up.
He hides in my chest.
