9: Think of Me

Marco's POV

"That was fun!" screamed Star after we bounced out of a portal.

"I wouldn't call being chased after rabid, mutant animals that breath fire fun, Star." I said getting up and dusting off my clothes.

"Oh come on! Admit it, you had fun!"

"Alright, I had fun." I said holding out my hand to help her up.

She smiled and accepted my hand. I pulled her up with a little too force, leading her to stand to close to my face. Our lips were a few centimeters away. I could feel her warm breaths in my face, causing me to turn bright red. She pulled away, my face already missing the close contact.

Star's POV

I coughed nervously, trying to hide my red face.

"How bout you go make nachos and we can watch something? Any new movies?" I asked as we started walking inside the house.

"I think we watched all the movies and we're all out of nachos."

"Got anything planned?"

"I was thinking we can go stargazing." he shrugged.

"It's been awhile since we did something relaxing."

"Okay! Why don't you go change and meet me later at the roof?" I beamed.

He nodded and started walking up the stairs. I rushed to my bedroom and changed my clothes. Afterwards I went out the window and climbed up the roof. After a few minutes, Marco came back with a bag of chips.

"Hey" I said patting to my side, signaling him to come and sit.

"Hey, I brought chips. It's the closest thing I could get than nachos." he replied, opening the bag and sitting beside me.

I smiled, grabbed a chip and returned my gaze towards the sky.

"I see why you wanted to go stargazing today. It's been awhile since I saw so many stars. It's so beautiful." I said, getting hypnotized by the millions of stars illuminating the darkness of the night sky.

Marco's POV

"Yeah, very pretty" I muttered, ignoring the sky but instead shifting my attraction to the girl beside me.

She turned her head to face me, leading me to turn red and look away. I could see her smirk at my actions, which made me redden even more. I started fiddling with my fingers as thoughts went through my head.

Star's POV

"Hey Marco, how much do you like Jackie?" I asked sliding closer to him.

"I don't know if I even like her anymore." he said which made me to move even closer.

"What about you and Oskar?"

"He's cute and all, but I kinda like this other guy." this time he was the one who moved closer.

"Oh.... " he said, looking down.

"Marco, what do you think of me?"

"Well.... you're my best friend." he shrugged.

I sighed

"I'll say it again, what do you think of me?"

"You're a magical princess from another dimension."

I shook my head and placed a hand on his shoulder.

"What do you think of me?" I repeated, looking straight in his chocolate brown eyes that twinkled under the moonlight.

"St-star?" I put another hand on his shoulder, making him stay put.

"What do you think of me?" I repeated, again.

"I think you're an amazing, bubbly, beautiful princess, that made a large impact in my life. Took me awhile to realize it but, you're the most important thing in my life." he said as he leaned closer.

I smirked and raised my hand to stop his attempt on kissing me. His eyes widened and raised a brow.

"You know your parents are taking pictures of us over there, right?" I pointed behind him.

He grabbed my arms and put them back on his shoulders.

"Let them." he muttered before closing the gap between us.

I'm not so sure about this story, although I hope you liked it. I'm losing ideas. I think I'm gonna slow down on updating, reason is that I'm reviewing for an entrance test. Anyways... Till next time!!!
