Chapter eight

The first thing we noticed as we walked in is all the many people wearing the same uniform bright orange shirt and bright orange pants just like people in jail would wear. Witch now that sorta got me worried but Jonathan said that was the only uniform they could get right now cause you know this apocalypse wasn't exactly planed or meant to happen. The second thing we noticed were these giant blow up air tunnels set up all around the building to help people breath without using gas masks. The blow up tunnels reminded me of when I was young and would go on those blow up bounce houses. There also was some one directing people to were they had to go. That man over there will tell you were you have to go and what you have to do Jonathan said and then he disappeared back out though the door we had come trough. Oh man we did not even have a chance to thank him. He had all ready brought Bradley to Macy's witch was being used as for recovery room for crawlers. I guess we have to go get directions where were supposed to go dr. James said walking over to the Man. We followed behind him getting in line for our turn. There had been five people in front of us and look like they were all together. The thing I didn't understand was they were being separated which got me nervous. Wait is he going to... But before I could tell them he was already calling us to move up. Hello there my name is Nathan and If you did not know all ready this is the resistance group against the aliens who have captured and imprisoned our people and left the rest of us to die of 8qi disease. What we did not know was nasa new about this for a while and instead of telling us they tried to stop it them selfs he went on. Wait wait wait a minute they new and they did not even tell us what ass jokes ally said getting a little mad now. Yeah the people we know and love are up there how could they do this. We don't know why but what we do know is how to fight them that were we are going to send you to train he explained. That's when I got even more nervous. It's like we were being drafted in a war. Now you to are immune is that correct he said pointing to me and ally. Yeah but he is also... He cut ally off before she could tell him that so was Doctor James, and said you well be heading to the mattress store. were u well be tested and do t worry nothing serious we just want to see why your immune. As for you and the dog you will be heading to WOW witch stand for work our world witch makes sense to train. Wait no way we can't be separated he is also... He cut ally off once more and said I'm sorry it's what I have to do now you have to go I have many more people. Wait but... Before we could do anything he handed us our orange uniforms and slips off paper  witch told us we're to go and all ready called the up next person. We quickly meet up behind the both he had been standing in. No were not getting separated especially not now I said. I know but they won't let me in were your going and they won't let you in were I'm going he said. True but we have to stick together right I asked. Then let's just get the heck out of here ally said we can live out there on our own. I don't think we're getting past all these guards Doctor James said. Speaking of guards here comes one now I said looking over behind were Doctor James was standing. Hey you guys got to get to were your paper says he said grabbing it out of my hand. He had a mean and frustrated look on his face. Now are we going to have any problems he asked. No it's just that we all want to stick together Doctor James said. Oh well in that case sure go ahead you all can go and while your at it go to shopping get a pair off shores he said sarcastically. No way you are to do what you are told we rescued you and are providing you with food and an opportunity to get back at aliens he said all most like a military leader would. I'm sorry but these kids don't have any parents right now and I won't let them go get experimented on Doctor James said stepping up to him. I don't think so he said grabbing Doctor James arm. But Doctor James would not take that he pulled his hand away made a fist and within seconds flung his hand into the security guards face face pushing him back. Now there were other Guards rushing over to us. It was all happening so fast. One guard ran over and grabbed one of Doctor James's arms along with the other one he had punched. More came over and now grabbed me and ally. Hey you let those kids go they did not do anything he yelled. Don't worry we're not going to hurt anyone were just bring you to your stations were you belong. No stop let us go ally said struggling to get away. I'm sorry this is how it is now bring them to there stations the guard yelled he most have been one of the leaders of the guards because he was demeaning all of them. No stop let us go we said as they pulled us along and Doctor James and buster in the other direction and even now he was barking at them trying to get away. We yelled and resisted but they were way stronger. Eventually we could not see them any more they had turned and headed to gym were Doctor James was supposed to be going. When we could not see them any more they let go us and walked along side to make sure we got to where we're going. Why do you guys have to be such jerks and tell us what to do its not like your the president or anything ally said staring at the guard inherited side. He kept his head up and looked forward. Because If we let everyone do whatever they want we would not train and get things done to fight and try and win this war against the aliens he said. Cause creaky there smarter and have been planing this so we need to do all we can to stop them. Even if we could win there not coming down until we're all dead ally barked out. That why we're sending a bunch of people up there he said. Wait were going up there how I asked. NASA has a rocket ready for launch a bunch of people are there now waiting and we are sending people there but not you he said as we arrived to the mattress store. Wait why not us I asked as me and ally turned around not entertaining into the mattress store. I've said to much all ready now go and do as you are told the guard said as him and the other one turned and walked away like statutes only they legs moved and the rest of them stayed still. Me any ally turned around slowly we saw curtains around some of the beds and a few people wearing white lab coats and stethoscopes around there neck with those masks over there mouth. Should we go in and let them experiment on us or try and get passed all those guards I asked ally. Idk I'm just amazed  that they set up all this and this system with guards I said walking in a little further. Hello guys welcome to our medical room a woman with long brown hair and a lab coat said walking over. Now you just have a seat over there with those other kids and we will call you in for some tests. Don't worry nothing hurts that much she said smiling. We walked over and sat on a couch were a bunch of other kids were waiting. Hey do you notice some thing ally asked looking around the store. Umm what I asked. There's only kids hear and that must mean that only kids have Ben immune so far. Yeah well that's not true we know Doctor James is immune to I said. But I new she was right every time some on came out from behind a curtain it was a kid. Weather they were a few years younger or a year older than us. We just sat for a minute trying to take in everything that was happening and had happened. We got to get out of hear ally said staring at one curtain across the room. I was trying to see what she was starting at and then I noticed many doctors and nurses rushing in and out of the current with Needles and other medical tools . But that was not all ever time the current was flipped open we saw a girl screaming fighting as they held her down giving her Needles. It was very un pleasant but I got us worried tho to. Your right we got to get out of here before that happens to us I whispered to ally. Yeah nothing hurts that much bull shit ally said. We watched for a while as they kept going back and forth I wanted to help but I was scared of the outcome. But it was to late for us to do anything if we tried because the Doctors seamed to stop going back and forth and the yelling stopped as well. And when the current was pulled open there was no one in the bed the girl that was there was gone. I held my arm that was still in the brace and has Ben this entire time. Ally was looking around and I could tell she was scared. And I think she was way more scared when the doctor came over and motioned her to come follow him. She sorta ignored him at first until he came and stood In front of her and now told her. Um I don't know what are you going to do to me? Cause I saw what you were doing to that girl back there I will not let you do that to me or my friend she said walking back. Oh what we are not going to hurt you we just need to run some tests to find out why your immune. So what about that girl she asked again. That girl was fighting us and giving us a hard time so if you just let us take the test then you will be fine he said smiling slightly. Then were Did she go ally asked. He paused for a while then just said lets go we have alit of people that need to get tested. Hey you didn't answer my question she said staring at him. Come on let's go he said grabbing her hand. Hey let her go I said running over to try and help. I'm sorry but I was told I have to do this and if you ever want to save our people and world you have to do what you are told he said pulling ally more. I grabbed her other arm trying to pull her away but he was not giving up. We both pulled her a few times in the opposite directions. Until something caught our attention. An announcement came on over the malls speakers the ones they use to tell when the mall is closing or when some ones car alarm is going off. But this time was different. They said attention every one we are about to attend another gravity loss please hold on to something sturdy and remain calm! We quickly ran over to a mattress and grabbed on tight ever one else was doing the same. Ally whispered this could be our chance to sneak out if we can just time it right! I new this was our chance and ally just got veery lucky.
