"Hey bestie" I yell to Joel as I walk into his room
"Sup dude" he says in a deep voice and puts up the peace sign
"What you wanna do" I ask throwing myself on his bed
Joel was just staring straight ahead like he was focused on something
"Joel hello" I say waving my hand infront of his face
"Huh what" he says as he looks at me
"You good u were staring at the wall for a while" I ask him laughing
"Yeah just was thinking" he replies smiling
"Whatcha thinking bout " I ask him sitting up and looking at him
"Ugh um nothing much" he says clearing his throat
"Come on we're besties you can tell me anything" I respond
"Well I like this girl" he says looking at me
"Oh" is all I could say I instantly felt my heart drop to my stomach, the thought of Joel liking someone else made me sad! I really liked him
"Yeah she's the most beautiful girl in the world, she's amazing and funny, and she has an amazing personality, and she's everything and more " he says smiling at his words
"Oh wow looks like you're in love , well I better get going " I say then jump up and walk to the door with tears in my eyes
"Wait don't go what's wrong" he asks as he grabs my arm and turns me around
"Woah Kenia why are you crying" he asks looking taken back a bit
"Because you're telling me how you practically head over heals for this girl and I have to sit hear and listen to my crush for the past five years talk about another girl" I say looking to the right of me
"Yo-you like me" he stutters
"If it isn't obvious enough all those mystery cards you got in school were from me" I say admitting
"Wow " is all he said
"Yeah I know you don't like me I'll see you tomorrow at school bye Joel" I say about to leave
"No wait I like you too all those things I said were about you, actually I don't like you I love you " he says smiling
"Really " I asked confused
But instead of answering he kissed me and I kissed back and it felt amazing I felt explosions and butterflies in my stomach
"I really really like you kenia" he says grabbing my cheeks
"And I really really like you Joel" I say laughing
"Be mine" he asks
"Only if you will be mine" I say giggling
"Yes" he says excited
"Then yes" I say giggling and kissing him again
