Ariana's POV
"Um mom, me and Jason are going to be up stairs" I said looking at her
"Yea, I'll call you guys for dinner" she said smiling,
We went upstairs to my room,
"So what do you want to do?" I asked,
"Well there's many things to do" he said smirking
"Well, give me some ideas G" I said
"G?" He asked, confused
"Yea 'G', like gangster" I said laughing
"Alright alright" Jason laughing, confused at my choice of words
"We can go watch a movie?" He said
"Nah, no good movie is out" I responded
"Um, we can go to a skate park?" He said
"I don't know how to skate" I said laughing,
"Yeah, I didn't want to go either" he said laughing
"We can go take a hike, there's kind of a close mountain around here" he said smiling,
"Do you want to go?" I asked him
"Yeah, when the sun is setting, the view is spectacular" he said smiling
"Then we'll go" I said excited
"Wait I'm actually pretty hungry, so is it okay if I stay for dinner?" He asked scratching the back of his head.
"Of course" I replied

We went downstairs to check if my mom needed help with anything
"Hey mom, do you need help with anything?" I asked
"I'm willing to help to" Jason spoke up,
"Yes mija, can you go upstairs to check on Anthony and Jason can you set up the table Mijo, please?" She said
"Yea mom" I said
I turned to look at Jason and he nodded,
I went upstairs to check up on Anthony,
Jason's POV
I was setting up the table when I wanted to ask Ariana's mom a question about her dad,
"Hey Mrs. Lopez, I'm sorry if this sounds rude because I'm asking this but, where's Ariana's dad?" I asked
Shit I shouldn't of ask the question
She turned to me and smiled,
"Ariana hasn't told you?" She asked surprised
"No" I responded
She walked towards me and she sat on a chair,
"My husband, her dad, died in a car accident" she said
Oh God I feel so bad for her,
"He was her best friend, her partner in crime, they're were everything, they were unstoppable together" she was saying,
"He lost his life because of this drunk driver that was driving full on speed, and he just crashed his car against my husbands and the driver made it out alive, but not my husband" she continued,
I felt my eyes get watery, I seriously show no emotion but with Ariana and her mom, I feel like they get to see the side no one else ever sees
"I'm so sorry" I said, grabbing her hand holding it with mine,
"I'm sure he's watching over you guys, and he's very proud of you and Ariana"
I continued,
"Thank you" she said,
