I'm just the quiet girl in the front of the class who everyone forgets about. I always get my work done. I never get in trouble. The only thing that makes me stand out is my red beanie.

This isn't how it's always been. I used to wear black skinny jeans and band tee-shirts. I used to let my grades slip on accident. I used to like to stand up to people. I used to be an extrovert. I used to not care what people thought. I used to speak my mind.

Now I wear floral skirts, tank tops, and cardigans. Now my grades never falter. Now I let them talk. Now I'm an introvert. Now I worry about what they'll say if I do something wrong. Now hardly a single word slips out of my mouth.

Something that hasn't changed is my love for the rain and my red beanie. I might still have a crush on Michael as well.
