It all changed when everyone started making fun of me. I laugh and brush it off, but it hurt. They would claim that it was just a joke, but jokes aren't supposed to hurt. There words repeat in mind. They really got to me. They would make fun of the bands I like and call me "emo freak." So eventually I just changed.
I hung up the band shirts and skinny jeans and put on skirts and cardigans. I wouldn't scream lyrics to My Chemical Romance or Fall Out Boy. I made sure I had my school work done. I stopped going to Michael's parties to avoid being bullied. I never told Mike. I didn't want to worry him. Especially when one of the worst people is one of his best friends, Brandon. So I kept quiet.
If Mikey ever asked me why I changed, I'd probably tell him because I can't lie to him.
