Chapter 16:

The next day Putzie, Jan and Sparky were running around in the backyard. "Come on Sparky!" Putzie yelled as he held Jan's hand and Sparky barked and they both fall to the ground, then Sparky licked them.

"Aww!" Jan yelled while laughing.

"Sparky!" Putzie screamed while laughing.

Just then Sparky ran inside and they both sat up.

"I'm having fun Putzie!" Jan said smiling at him.

"Hey, do you wanna have a dinner with me tonight? Just um...you and me?" Putzie asked her.

"Sure." Jan replied. "I'll go home and tell my mommy!" Jan ran home.

Then Putzie stood up and he saw Danny walking over to him.

"Danny, I asked Jan to have dinner with me, just her and me." Putzie said.

Danny smiled down at his youngest best friend.

"Look like you got your first date buddy." Danny said.

"First date?" Putzie asked him.

"Yep." Danny said.

"But I'm only 4 years old." Putzie replied.

"I know, but it's just you and Jan." Danny told him. "Let's go tell Phil."

Danny grabs his hand and then they ran inside.

"Phil!" Danny yelled.

"In the living room guys!" Phil yelled.

Then Putzie and Danny both ran in the living room.

"Phil guess what!" Danny said.

"What is it boys?" Phil asked them.

"Putzie has his first date." Danny told him.

Then Phil stopped watching TV and looked over at his little brother.

"It's that true?" Phil asked his little brother.

Putzie nods his head.

"Jan is at home getting ready for dinner." Putzie told his big brother.

Then Phil smiled.

"Putzie, you are growing up too fast kid." Phil said to his little brother.

"Am I'm still gonna be your baby brother?" Putzie asked him.

"You'll always be my baby brother." Phil told him.

"Yeah, just like you'll always be my best friend and my little brother." Danny putting his arm around him.

"Thanks big brothers." Putzie said smiling.

Then Putzie hugs both of them and they hugged him back.
