*Sirius' POV*

"PRONGS! I'll help set you up with Evans if-"

"SHUT IT PADFOOT! I'm trying to study!" James cut me off by placing a hand over my mouth.

I glared at him.

"They'll probably hear you," He added, whispering.

I moved his hand away and whispered in his ear, "I'll ensure you and Evans happen. Please just set me up with Evans' best friend, (Y/F/N)."

"Just go tell her, honestly, Padfoot. She probably likes you too." James grinned, wiggling his eyebrows.

"So what's the first step?"

"We're beyond that already, m'boy. Just getting those ladies to confess is what's left." James winked.

(Y/N)'s POV:
Lily and I were sitting in the library doing our potions homework. Lily was totally engrossed in it while I was completely distracted and was still stuck on the first question.

I sighed dejectedly and closed my book.

"Not doing it?" Lily questioned, looking up from her book.

"I don't know, Lily. I can't focus. My mind keeps drifting off." I replied to her, doleful.

"Is it because of something? Or should I say someone?" She further inquired, her expression amused.

I immediately turned red and shook my head. "Please, Evans! It's not about Sirius!"

She looked at me shocked and I immediately found out my mistake.

DID I LIKE HIM?
PFFFFT.
NO.
OF COURSE NOT.

My whole face became a tomato and my jaw hung open.

She smirked at my flabbergasted expression. "I didn't even mention who it was and you guessed it was Sirius and you turned red. I KNEW IT ALL ALONG!"

"NO LILY! IT JUST SLIPPED OUT. I DON'T LIKE HIM!"

'The first step is denial, sweetheart."

'The first step to what is denial, ladies?" A new voice interrupted us.

I turned to look and to my horror,

Sirius Black and James Potter stood behind us, grinning at my shocked red face.
I fake coughed and awkwardly fidgeted with my robes.

"You didn't answer me, ladies?" Sirius asked again, sitting next to me, wrapping an arm around my shoulders.

'Oh oh oh oh oh oh oh!' My heart sang.

I tried my best to act calm and stay cool but my facadé was weak.

Sirius grinned at me and I *tried* to smile back.
I was melting.

Why the hell did he have to be so goddamn beautiful and charming and lovely and amazing? His eyes. Oh. Don't even get me started.

I forced my train of thoughts to stop and mentally chided myself for thinking about Sirius Black.

I looked at Lily who was completely red and James was smiling at her.

Oh.
They were so in love.
I could see it.
"OTP OTP OTP OTP!" My heart whispered.

"Hey (Y/N). Do you think that James and Lily should, you know, admit their undying love for each other now?" Sirius questioned, loud enough to be heard by the whole library.

"YES! EXACTLY. THANK YOU. SOMEONE FINALLY SAID IT!" I grinned turning to Sirius.

We both smirked at each other and turned to the couple.

James was grinning like he had won the lottery and Lily smiled shyly, her face as red as her hair. They both turned to each other.

Sirius got up, pulling me up with him. "'LAMES' HAS HAPPENED. NOW WE SHALL LEAVE YOU TWO LOVEBIRDS ALONE!" Sirius yelled, pretending to wipe fake tears from his eyes. "MY MISSION IN LIFE IS COMPLETE. TAKE GOOD CARE OF MY PRONGS, LILY. I LOVE HIM QUITE A LOT."

I grabbed Sirius' arm, and forced him outside the library as all the students there were shooting us dirty looks.

Once outside, I sighed in relief. "Oh my God, Sirius. You're such a drama queen! Do you aspire to join acting or something?" I asked him, grinning.

"That, I am. You know what else I aspire to be?" He questioned.

"What?"

"Yours." He whispered, looking into my eyes and grabbing my hand.

I swear to God, my world stopped. Had I heard him right? Sirius Black wanted to be mine? Whaaaat?
He liked me?
I couldn't breathe.
I couldn't believe it.

I looked down at our joined hands.

"So? Isn't this where you're supposed to say something along the lines of 'I like you too?'" Sirius whispered, disappointment coating his handsome face.

"Actually, I don't like you, Sirius."

I swear I saw his heart shatter in his eyes and immediately regretted my choice of words.

He slowly let go of my hand.
But I grabbed it again. He looked at me confused.

"Good God, Sirius! I was joking! Of course I don't like you, I love you. How could someone not like you?" I whispered, touching his cheek.

His face immediately turned happy and he gave me a genuine smile.

"BAD JOKE (Y/L/N)!" Sirius yelled.

I smirked at him and then hugged him tight.

It felt amazing being in his arms. He pulled back just a little bit to look at me.
"I love you too." He whispered.
