Chapter 10

Mama Perez: oh Dios Mio. Jacob you are about to make me curse. why didnt you tell me you couldn't find your way home i coulda picked you and Rayan up

Jacob: i know i know mami Im sorry. i just wasn't thinking clearly

Mama Perez: que pasó mijo?

Jacob: well it was a few seconds till New Years and everyone was counting down. And I was with this girl who pointed out that Chresanto was kissing his ex girlfriend

Mama Perez: that's all? I was thinking he probably hit you or something or probably got jumped

Jacob: that's not all

Mama Perez: I'm listening

Jacob: then me and Ray checked into the hotel after leaving. Chresanto called and I told him I didn't want to deal with it anymore. And me and Ray were talking about things

Mama Perez: what kind of things? Never mind I don't want to know

Jacob: long story short me and him are gonna try things out between us

Mama Perez: where did I go wrong with you?

Jacob: oh ma you're so comforting.... Sarcasm

Mama Perez: you just don't break a relationship off with one person, then get into one with another the same day, silly little mijo

Jacob: whatever mami. I just want to forget all about it and get something to eat

Mama Perez: get inside I'll make you something

Jacob walked in and felt at ease slightly, since he was at home. He heard tiny feet traveling down the hallway to see what was all the ruckus.

Tony: wherwe have you been?

Jacob: at a friend's house

Tony: yourwe in big trouble misterw. Mama was worrwied about you

Mama Perez: that's right chiquito get him

Jacob: don't worry Tony I talked to mami about it

Tony: don't let it happen again. Ooh pancakes

It was February and since the incident, things were truly something. Ray felt a strong connection for Jacob and Jacob believed he felt it too. They spent many moments going out and creating memories, having laughs and being beautiful beings. People at the school started to notice, but only suspected and weren't sure if it was a true thing. Jacob and Chresanto eventually stopped talking and it was as though they've never even met. Chresanto went back to Bahja and hid all feelings, though deep in his heart he knew he didn't do anything wrong. He and Bahja were sitting at a table during lunch and they were having their daily conversations.

Bahja: I told you he was no good

Chresanto: I just don't know what I did wrong

Bahja: well he's in the past, and you've got me now

Chresanto: yea

Chresanto looked up and saw Jacob and Rayan walking. Ray held onto Jacob's hand and guided him to a bench. The thought of them together made his stomach flip and blood stop flowing. Every time he sees Jacob, he gets a feeling of confusion and betrayal. Then he would think, trying to remember what he did. Jacob looked up and caught eyes with Chresanto and get a look of hurt painted on his face. Jacob then grabbed Rayan by the face and kisses rather forceful.

Bahja: are you listening to me?

Chresanto: I'm sorry I was caught in thought
