The moon has been in love with the sun for so many years now.
He loves how the sun brightens everyone's day and he loves the way the sun shines hope for everyone. The moon tried to move on, tried to forget his love for the sun because he knows that they can never be together for he shines only during nights and she shines only during the days. They can only meet once in a blue moon, in the Solar Eclipse where the moon will pass between the Sun and the Earth.
On the night of the Solar Eclipse, the Moon had an idea. When he was in finally in between the sun and the Earth. He looked at the Sun with love in his eyes and whispered. "I love you, Sun. And I will love you until both of our lights dimmed to ashes. But, I'm letting you go. Letting this love go and hope it reaches you because I know that we can never really be together so I'll just love you from afar. I'll watch you make days, even though they're meant for other people and not for us. You don't need me to be your light because you are your own light."
