"It's an odd feeling to read old text messages, because when feelings and thoughts change you see what you said as someone else saying it and you can't even connect the emotion to yourself, I mean sure you know that you once felt that way but it feels so distant and unknowing. It makes me think that things in the past are better left there because who we were then was left there too."
