Blobfish In The Hunger Games

Part 4- The Interviews

My stylist, Barack Obama, was helping me prepare for the interviews. Everything he told me only made me more nervous. Ceaser Flickman was welcoming the crowd, receiving tons of applause from the audience.

The tributes from district one were bound to get tons of sponsors. Along with three and four. Kanye and I didn't stand a chance.

Katniss and Peeta pushed me in to the stage where I waddled to my seat next to Ceaser. "Barbara! How are you feeling?" he asked, staring at me with his lovely eyes.

I'm feeling pretty sexy tonight.

The crowd burst out laughing. "Well that patriotic dress really does show of those curves." Ceaser said with a wink. Oh no, I said that out loud! How many sponsors would I loose? Or maybe, how many would I gain? Judging by their reaction, most people like my sense of humor.

"Speaking of dress, your mentor, Katniss, always had a beautiful twirl. Why don't we see yours, Miss Blobfish?"

Ugh. This is a waste of my time. I could be earning sponsors but now I have to twirl. Great.

I jumped off my chair and went to the front of the stage. Then I started breakdancing, adding in a few twirls here and there. The capital people were throwing money at me as my three minutes ended. Now it was Kanye's turn.

He walked on to stage and stopped to pose with duck lips and peace signs. Ceaser ave him a fist bump. "Before you start talking, C-Dog, I have an announcement for someone at home."

Ceaser straightened up, looking very interested. "This is to my girl back home. Yo, Kim. I found someone else now. Her name is Barbara and she has one-hundred times better curves than your plastic surgeon could give you. She also treats me with respect-" Not true. "And she doesn't run off spending my money all the time!" Also not true.

Ceaser was taken back by Kanye's dramatic outburst about Kim. I didn't like Kanye though. Nothing he could do would change my mind. He was savage and always would be.
