Imara's POV

Not knowing what to do or what to say to these amused faces. I just smiled nervously at them. "so, you did all of this to save your little brother?" Talha asked with a quirked eyebrow. I nodded my head "you mean you were keeping tabs on us, just because-" I sighed loudly.

"Yes, Urooj" he breathed a sigh of relief and plopped on the stools.

"oh Allah, you don't know what kind of pain and suffering me and my buddy went through, Imara" Talha, deadpanned and looked at Safaa, who was busy mulling over everything.

Just to clear the tension building up in the room, I got up from the counter stools "listen guys, if I've created any misunderstandings and quarrels amongst all of you" I looked down, sighing. ''I didn't do it on purpose, it was the situation and my brothers & my life were in tow, I had to do it"

I looked back up and saw everyone's faces Amna was still smiling warmly at me, Safaa looked pale, almost like as if she saw a ghost, Talha and Urooj were running their hands through their hair and Inam, well, he was stuffing his mouth with cookies and looking at everybody.

"Guys, I think I've created too much of confusion and trouble for today.  Think i'll take my leave, now" I turned around and took my handbag from the counter top. When I turned back, Safaa stood their her eyes filled with unshed tears and hands wringing on her sides.

"Imara, look.. Urgh, I'm so sorry" she looked right into my eyes and apologized, I just smiled back at her. "Its alright. Your behavior towards me is totally justified, Safaa" she looked at me like I had grown two heads.

"Oh, no, no, no'' she shook her head "I'm not worthy of your forgiveness, Imara. Without listening to your side of the story, I just... I just jumped to conclusions" she looked down and some tears fell on the floor. She looked up, her black eyes filled with tears "I just don't know how to apologize to you" I gulped and took her hands in mine. "look, I would've done the same thing if I saw the person I like with some unknown girl"

She looked at me with wide eyes and crimson cheeks "I just, it was something I had to do.. If I can I would do anything in my power to undo all of this, Safaa, really. You're like a small sister to me" I looked around till I spotted Amna and smiled at her "just like Amy" she tightened her hold on our hands and grinned at me, tears and all. "thank you" she whispered and engulfed me in a hug. I smiled and hugged her back.

I broke away from our hug and started walking towards the front door, but even before I could pass the kitchens door, Inam's voice stopped me. "hey, wait up. I'll drop you off. Its late" I turned around with wide eyes.

"No, no. I'll book a cab or something there's no need for that" I smiled at him. "no, Imara I insist" he pulled out his car keys and started making his way to me. "okay.." I whispered and started making my way back towards the front door. Urooj opened the front door and everyone else were following behind us. I stood in the entrance and turned around to bid all of them a final goodbye.

"I'm sorry, guys" I looked at them one last time. "I can not imagine what kind of pain I've put you'll through" I looked at them, Amy stood in front of me.

"Its all fine now, Imara. We've all forgotten about it and we all have something to say to you as well" she turned around and looked at everyone. "yes, Imara. We all just wanted to apologize to you" Talha spoke up and kept a hand on Urooj's shoulder.

Urooj looked at me and Safaa, Talha, Urooj and even, Amna and Inam, all of them stood together in front of me. "we are really sorry about everything, Imara" Talha started. "I'm so sorry for all false accusations and for the stupid things I said to you" Safaa said.
