A few weeks have past and me and Cheryl have become closer we even see each other every day now going out to lunch or for a coffee with or with out the kids, I walk into the kitchen to see Nadine sitting down rubbing her bump she went to the doctors 4 weeks ago and found out she was 4 months gone so she is 5 months now and me and Cheryl are going to the hospital with her, Bella’s at school and I will be taking Justin with us
“you okay Diney how's the bump?” I ask going to the fridge and getting a bottle of water out and sitting down next to her
“I’m fine and the bump is using my bladder as a bouncy castle” she says giving her bump evils it makes me laugh
“you have an hour to get ready you know” I say
“I know I just cant be bothered to move” she laughs
“well it looks like you will be going in your PJ’s then” I smile
“argh! Fine I will get dressed!” she says getting up and walking to the stairs passing Justin on the way he runs in to the kitchen and jumps on my lap he looks up at me and flashes me a smile
“are we seeing Cheryl again today?” he asks
“yeah baby she is coming to the hospital with us” I say
“to see da buba?” Justin asked
“yeah to see the baby” I smile at him the door goes and Justin runs off and starts jumping up and down
“its Cheryl its CHERYL!!” he shouts and I hear Cheryl laughing on the other side I open the door and see her standing there wearing skinny jeans a white vest top with a grey jumper over it which falls down her shoulder on the right side she gives me one of her dimpled smiles and walks in the house giving me a hug which I wrap my arms around her waist she gives me a kiss on the cheek and I feel a blush work its way to my cheeks thankfully she doesn’t notice as she picked up Justin and is tickling his stomach
“hey little man how are you?” she says in a baby voice which is too cute for words
“I’m good we’re going to see da buba in Nadine’s tummy” he smiles
“I know we are you excited to see the baby?” she says placing Justin on her left hip Justin nods and we walk in to the front room and sit down
“how are you babes?” she turns and asks me
“I’m fine babes you how's Bella getting on?” I ask
“aye I’m great pet, Bella Is getting on great she is getting the highest marks in her class” she smiles
“that’s great babes she’s a little brain box then” I laugh
“aye she is she gets that from her mam Nicola was very smart too” she says Nadine walks in that moment she is wearing denim jeans and a pink top and her hair is in a pony tail
“I’m ready now” she smiles we get up and head out to my car.
We’re the ultra scan room with Nadine I’m holding her hand and Cheryl is sitting down with Justin on her lap trying to keep him from running off
“put me down” he frowns
“I cant baby you have to stay here until we get out of the room then you can run around okay” Cheryl says Justin looks at her still frowning
“okay sorry” he says giving her a kiss on the cheek
“its okay be a good boy now for mummy while she is with auntie Nadine” Cheryl smiles
The nurse walks in and lifts Nadine’s top up and places gel on her stomach and moves the sensor around and then we all can hear a tiny sound of a heart beat
“would you like to know the sex of the baby?” the nurse asks Nadine and she nods and says
“yes please” she is smiling from ear to ear excited to hear
“well miss Coyle you are having a little girl congratulations” the nurse smiles and Nadine lets out a squeal
“I’m having a girl, Kimba I’m having a wee girl” she says with tears forming in her eyes
“I know babes she is going to be so spoiled and beautiful” I smile back at her Cheryl comes over and holds Nadine other hand
“congratulations babes you will be a wonderful mam” Cheryl says smiling
“would you like photos?” the nurse asks
“aye please” Nadine says sitting up after she wiped the gel away
“did you hear that Justin Diney is having a little girl your going to have a cousin” I say to my boy and he smiles
“more friends!” he says making us laugh Nadine gets the photos and we head the car when Nadine turns to us and says
“I’m going to go to Jason’s”
“what! Why!?” I say, Cheryl’s eyes are nearing bugging out of her sockets
“cos I want him to see our daughter see if can change his mind you know” she says looking to the floor
“okay babes be careful and good luck” I say and hug her so does Cheryl and we watch her walk in the direction of Jason’s flat me and Cheryl get in the car and I turn to her
“where do you wanna go?” I ask
“uhh I don’t mind babes where do you wanna go?” she smiles
“how about we go to the little café near mine and have a coffee and a bite to eat” I say
“sounds good to me babes” she smiles and places her hand on my thigh and I start the car and try and focus on the road which is a hard thing to do with Cheryl’s hand resting on my thigh which I can feel the heat going through my leggings making me blush slightly .
