Turning an age older,
a whole year wiser,
a whole smile wider.
But is what they say true?
Do you really get wiser?
Do you really smile wider?
Birthday birthday,
mine was yesterday,
but oh- how I didn't smile much,
and I know I didn't get wiser.
oh-I only got the news of a dead dog.
oh-I only understood crying,
oh-I only survived dying.
