Whispers 'Neath the Smile

Mig groaned in annoyance as he slammed his head to the thick mathematics book, sighing as he gazed at the clock which read '12 : 07'. Only thirteen minutes left before the lunch bell will ring to signal it's end,
Apparently, there was going to be a test and he was studying. But the formulas he have to memorize was taking it's toll upon his mind,

"You really should chill out, you're stressed."

He lifted his gaze upon the female-- Den -- who said the words in a plain manner, twirling the wrapped up wires of her earphones as she spoke without removing her look at the screen of her phone.
"Yeah man, you probably should."
Lee added in response to her Aneki's words, Den. He just groaned as a result, closing the book as he rested his chin on the palm of his hand. His fingers tapping the cold green metal table as he waited for the bell to signal the end of lunch, it was by then when Frances ran up to the table with a rather afraid look upon her face, calling out attention to everyone in the group.
"Huh? What's wrong??" Mich and Mig were the first to ask as the others practically didn't give a fck in the world, but a earphone was out of Den's ear so she maybe could be listening. Lee was too busy reading X Levi fanfics probably, Jade and Mark are practically disturbing Mark as he play in his PSP.
"There's a murder case going on around this school , they said a girl fell down from the rooftop and down."
Upon hearing the statement, Den stopped playing with the earphone and turned her gaze at Frances who showed them the corpse of the girl who recently died.

"They say it's either suicide or someone purposely intended to kill her,"

"JADEN FOR FCK'S SAKE, LET ME PLAY, GED DAMMIT!!"

All attention turned to Mark who was now having a heated fight with Jaden accompanied with Marx, but the three seem to be having fun, too. Frances groaned and slammed her head to the table but not before Den's hand slipped itself upon the table, acting as a cover.
"Fcking hell, what's wrong with this school?" Frances raised her middle finger high in the air as Lee and Mich laughed at their superior's actions,

Mig's POV

A killer ? In this school ?
Could be possible.. then again, she could've just comitted self harm, right?
I sighed as the bell rang and I took my book and several papers as I began to walk away, my mind filling with negative thoughts.
I look around me, staring at the students' eyes in suspicion. Beneath a smile of theirs, there's gotta be something cruel. I really couldn't trust anyone here, except my friends, but they have secrets too. It's best to keep my guard up, I'd never know what'll happen if I didn't.

"Guys guys guys!"

The rest of us looked behind, seeing Frances waving several papers around, it was at the color of dark blue and bright gold.
Den crossed her arms as she tilted her head slightly with Mich jumping up and down in excitement, looks like the two already knew what it is.
I smirked, only doing a thing that came to my mind,

"WHAT ARE THOOOOOOSE?!"

Frances nearly faceplanted to the ground from my sudden outburst and she tossed me the bundle of papers, it read
'Enchanted Kingdom'.
She really got the tickets!?
Everyone laughed at the usual corny joke I always pull, heeey I'm a fun person!

"Every one gets a ticket to Enchanted Kingdom! Vewa chan's treat!"

Frances pointed to Den who just gave a wide smile and a thumbs up,

"We'll leave this Friday. After class is over, we'll have tons of fun!"

"Dibs to sit with Den!"

"JADEN, GED DEMMIT!!"

"SORRY, SHEEZ!"

"I swear if we 'all get the damn ride - sick."

"Don't mind it!"

".. I'll be puking in your face then, Yours Truly."

"Ahh, no!!"

I facepalmed, of course this would be the outcome. Girls will go over Den's car, boys to Rex's. And most likely, planning comes later. For now, study study study..

"Two more days left,"

"Are you sure to do this? She hasn't done anything wrong to us!"

"Ahh.. but it's written here."

What's happening..

Den and Mich's names are crossed out in the thick book of whatever the title is.
What could this even mean?
