preliminaries

So the preliminaries had almost finished one fight to go.., Sakura and ino had a draw, Sasuke beat his opponent, Naruto beat kiba. And all the others tried their best. Now it was me and mayami. Yay. But I had to get dressed. Kakashi had told me too just in case people did notice. So I did as I was told and was now in the middle of the arena Infront  facing the jounin and chuunin that were watching, I sigh. Eyeing kakashi who just gave me thumbs up. I nod my head, Naruto and Sakura cheering for me.. They were very loud, like very loud. Mayami jumped down and smirked
"Get ready for a beating whimp" she growled at me, I sighs nod got into a fighting position
"Whatever mayami" I growl, the hayate then said start, quickly moving backwards. I smirk and shift back. Throwing kunai. They then disappeared,
"Soul summon jutsu" I whisper, it would activate later.. But for now.. I'll just keep this battle simple. She then dodges the kunai and smirk, doing handsign
"Fire style: fire Phoenix jutsu!" She shouted, I managed to evade the jutsu with ease, the preliminaries, why I was in them? Because I had to be, there was an odd number of participants so I had to be there. I sigh giving kakashi a nod as i disappear. He smirked
"Having fun?" He asked, I sigh
"It's boring. I can't go full on. But I've done the jutsu I needed to"
"And what jutsu is that?"
"Something made for torture, well I better get going, Ja ne! Sensei!" I say smirking jumping down from the railing that barricaded the arena and landing perfectly fine,
"You can't do that!"
"I just went to talk. No big deal"
"Hey! He's that guy I saw you with before!"
"So?"
"So?! Is he your boyfriend or something?! He really is stupid if he wants to date a killer like you!" She shouts at me, I look at her confused
"Um the guy's my Sensei. And he's my friend. So? Why would I want to date my Sensei anyway?" I ask, even though my mind was racing with those Wild thoughts I usually have about the guy I kept it from distracting me, I sigh, pulling out my book. I think I'll fight like kakashi would if he was fighting a measly genin.. I started to read quietly
"Why are you reading?!" Mayami shouted, she then went to kick me but I blocked it with my forearm.. I began to chuckle
'So much like kakashi' I thought laughing to myself. I looked back to Kakashi with a smirk. He seemed to be amused as well. Well I am the student of the copy cat, it's not unusual for a student to copy their teachers actions anyway. I sigh, the team looking at me wide eyed
"That's the same thing kakashi-Sensei did to me!!" Naruto yelled
"GO MASA-KUN!!!" Sakua screamed out. I sigh, blocking another punch from mayami
"My teammates are really annoying" I say sighing, mayami smirked
"No better then you!" She shouted, punching 'me' in the stomach, truth be told I was up near kakashi watching
"Using my little ways" he whispered, I smirk
"Well you are a great Sensei kakashi" I say smirking, he raised an eyebrow
"And when did I give you permission to call me by my first name?"  I blush and sink back.
"U-uh..." He just smiles. Patting my head
"Better get back out there instead of playing around. Mitsuki"  I pout
"Oh come on.. It's boring" I say frowning. He then grabs my arm.
"Nope" he says. Pulling me to the railing "now go" he says seriously, I frown
"Couldn't I have a 'good luck' hug?" I ask. He stares at me with a blank look
"Just get going Mitsuki"  I huffed and jumped back down, spinning around and punching mayami in the face, I then appeared behind her and slammed my foot into her face. Sending her plummeting to the ground. I then landed perfectly fine with a knocked out girl Infront of me
"I TOLD YOU GUYS ITS EASY!" I shout, hands on my hips. I saw Naruto and kakashi blush slightly.. I smirk.  "Boys.." I say shaking my head as hayate sighs
"The winner of this match is Masayuki kodayashi" hayate announces. I nod my head, mayami was knocked out cold, her nose was bleeding too I must have broken it.. Sorry fukawa for destorying your sister it was just my reflexes... I sigh. Walking up to her and pulling her up. Her arm around my shoulder as I carried her towards the medic
"Take care of her" the medics nodded at me. Naruto started to frown as I walked up the stairs.
"Why did you help her when she was being so mean to you?!" Naruto shouts. I smile
"Because she's my old teammates sister. Mayami, I couldn't let her be dragged back knows he lost to one punch and kick could I? Besides I have debt to repay" I say sighing. I then walk up to Kakashi and sigh
"You did well"
"It wasn't that hard.. But she's still strong"
"She is" Kakashi agreed quietly, I smile
"Could I have my hug now?" I ask smiling, kakashi blushed and chuckled
"Maybe when we're alone Mitsuki"
"Naw..." I pout making him smile. He then ruffled my hair making me giggle.. "Sensei! Don't!" I shout swaying his hands away from my head, he chuckled as he looked to me.
"Silly kid" he stated.
"Silly Sensei" I retorted. Kakashi chuckled and sighed
"I'm going to go check up on Sasuke. I'll be back alright? You have to go down by the way, bring Naruto with you"
"Yeah okay, update me on sasuke's condition when you get back?"
"Sure" he says teleporting. I sigh and grab Naruto by the arm
"Come on genin!" I shout, Naruto pouted but blushed
"Koba-San!" He shouted pouting as I dragged him down to the arena where our opponents would be announced. I sigh. Dragging Naruto to the line where, neji, shikamaru, Temari, Gaara and a few other stood.. I hope sasuke's okay. He might be a little arrogant little idiot sometimes but he's still my teammate...
