Chapter 94: Prom Part 1!

The special day is almost here. Everyone was excited for prom. Girls were all trying on dresses at the mall as the guys just ordered simple tuxedos. This is their senior prom, they only get it once and it's a big deal. Draculaura tried on a pink dress with heart on it and it was strapless. Her hair laid against her back as she walked out of the dressing her room and showed her friends. Clawdeen, Lagoona, Cleo, and Frankie were all there. They were going one by one so they'll all find the right dress for them. "It looks amazing on you!" Frankie exclaimed. Draculaura smiled as she twirled around in the dress. 'This is the one. I know itvis." Draculaura told them. "My turn. I'll go find a dress to try on." Cleo told them and walked away as they all laughed. "I'll change." Draculaura told them as she went a back into the changing room and changed into her outfit.
"He hasn't asked me! We've been dating all year, so don't you think he would ask?" Rebecca asked her girlfriends. Rochelle, Venus, Robecca, and Cy have been close ever since a little bit before they stopped Ms. Flapper, the Monster Whisperer. "Of course he should, but it's Cy." Rochelle replied. "Or you could ask him yourself, it's not the 1800's anymore." Venus told her and she sighed. "But you know how I am." Rebecca told her. "And you know how Cy is." Rochelle told her and Rebecca sighed. "Look, Beccs. Cy has had a crush on you since he came to Monster High. He started hanging with us to get close to you, and we were friends with him for years before you found out he had feelings for you. He never had the guts to tell you, because he's really shy and nervous. But you didn't want to jeopardize your friendship. But then you realized how much you care for him and decided to give it a shot, and now you've really fallen for him." Venus explained. "I already know all of this, Venus. I was there." Rebecca told her. "The point is that he's probably scared you'll say no." Venus told her. "Why would I?" Rebecca asked. "I don't know, why won't you ask him?" Venus asked and Rebecca sighed. "I guess I get your point." Rebecca replied.
Operetta was in the music room, playing on the piano as she wrote a song. Johnny walked in and stood at the door way as he watched her sing, play, and write. He started clapping, making Operetta jump. "How long have you been standing there?" Operetta asked she stood up. "Long enough. You're really talented." Johnny replied. "Really?" Operetta asked. "Yeah." Johnny replied and Operetta smiled. "Thanks." Operetta commented. "I wish you would have shown me before." Johnny told her and Operetta sighed as she walked up to him. "You know why I can't." Operetta told him and he nodded. "I know." Johnny agreed. "I have to go meet the ghost girls at the maul to find prom dresses." Operetta told him and he nodded. "I'll see you soon." Johnny told him and they kissed before she left.
The ghost girls were at the maul, trying on dresses. Spectra was looking at some dresses in a section when Kiyomi walked up to her. "Going with Porter?" Kiyomi asked and Spectra smiled. "Of course." Spectra replied. "That's sweet." Kiyomi commented. "Who are you going with?" Spectra asked. "No one. Ruby, Vandalla, and I are going as a group. You and Porter are going together, Operetta and Johnny are going together, and Scarah and Invisibillie are going together." Kiyomi replied. "We can still hang out at prom. Prom is for dates and friends." Spectra told her and Kiyomi smiled at her friend.
Everyone was at prom. Clawd was driving Draculaura's car that Dracula got her on Sweet 1600th. He parked the car and helped her out as they walked in. "I'll get us some drinks." Clawd told her and she nodded with a smile as he walked away. Clawdeen walked up to her. "Hey, ghoul." Clawdeen greeted. "Hey." Draculaura greeted. "You look fangtastic." Clawdeen told her and she smiled. "Thanks, so you." Draculaura told her. "Where's my brother? Did you find a better date?" Clawdeen asked and Draculaura laughed. "No, he's just getting us drinks." Draculaura replied and Clawdeen nodded. "Oh." Draculaura commented. "I'll save time for a dance with my best friend." Draculaura told her and Clawdeen smiled. Then Draculaura heard a new song come on and she grinned. This was her's and Clawd's song. Clawd walked over to her. "I requested it just for you." Clawd told her. "So sweet." Draculaura commented. Clawd took her hand and brought her to the dance floor.
Robecca and Cy walked up to Rochelle, Garrett, and Venus while holding hands. "So, he finally asked you?" Rochelle asked as she held Garrett's hand. "Actually, no. I asked him to the prom." Venus replied and her friends grinned. "I am so proud of you." Venus told her and Robecca smiled. Cy turned to his girlfriend and held out his hand. "May I have this dance?" Cy asked. "Of course, Cy." Robecca replied as she took his hand and walked to the dance floor together. "How about you, Rochelle? Would you care for a dance?" Rochelle asked. She turned to Venus, and Venus nodded. Then she turned back to Garrett. "That sounds lovely." Rochelle replied and they started dancing as well.
Spectra and Porter were dancing until the song ended. "You want to take a break?" Spectra asked. "Yeah. I'll get us some drinks." Porter replied. "Okay." Spectra agreed. Ruby walked over to him. "Hey, are you going to ask that guy to dance?" Spectra asked. "What guy?" Ruby asked. "The guy you've been flirting with the past month." Spectra replied. "I have not been flirting." Ruby told her. "You have. With that skeleton." Spectra replied and Ruby sighed. "Maybe I have a small crush. But it's nothing serious, and I'll probably get over it." Ruby told her as she took a sip of her drink. "I'm not asking you to marry him, just to ask him dance." Spectra told her. "Maybe." Runy agreed and she walked away as Spectra laughed. Then Porter walked back over and handed her the drink he got her. "What's so funny?" Porter asked and Spectra shook her head. "Nothing." Spectra replied.
Cleo was dancing with Deuce next to Lagoona and Gil and Frankie and Neighthon. Cleo laughed as Deuce spun her and then dipped he and broght her back up. Cleo smiled at Deuce as she starred into his glasses. She wished she could look into his eyes, but she would turn into stone. "What?" Deuce asked. "Nothing. I just really love you." Cleo replied and Deuce smiled. "I love you too." Deuce told her and they kissed passionately. They broke apart and looked at each other. Then the windows broke and Cleo threw himself over Cleo, to protect her. Then the door flew open and everyone turned to find Nefera De Nile walking in Cleo walked up to the front with Deuce and her friends right behind her. "I told you I'll get my revenge." Nefera told her and Cleo glared at her.
