He is the Man of Steel
My hero and my heart
He taught how to feel
He told me I was smart
Strength beyond compare
He would not let me fall
He'd catch me in midair
He'd answer every call
He taught me how to stand
He taught me how to walk
Life wasn't what he planned
But he'd never ever baulked
A quiet kind of strength
Never needing the fanfare
He'd go to any length
To be certain he was there
He's my father and my friend
And I his biggest fan
Feel a love that has no end
For my Superman
