"Stupid neko!!" My master said. He gripped my hair, and I held back sobs. "LET HER GO NOW!!!" A deep voice said. My master let me go, and ran off. I collapsed and sobbed into my hands, my whole body aching. "Shh it's okay little kitten. Don't cry. He won't hurt you anymore." The man said, his voice calming. I looked up, and saw him kneeling down in front of me. "You have beautiful eyes, little one." He said. "T-thank y-you." I said, shivering. The man wrapped his huge leather jacket around me, and I slid my arms into the sleeves. It smelled like cigarettes and cologne, and I breathed the scent in. "What's your name kitten?" He asked. "Hope." I said. "I'm Andrew, but you can call me Andy." He said. I nodded, and he gently picked me up. I mewed softly, and he rubbed my head gently. His touch was gentle, and warm. "W-where are you taking m-me?" I asked. "Kitten, I'm taking you to my house. It'll be safer there then out here. I couldn't let a kitten like you stay out here." Andy said, and I saw his lip ring and his nose ring. I nodded, and curled into him. He smiled, and carried me to his car. "Just rest kitten."
