*3 weeks Later*
So it has been 3 weeks since Derek called me Vanessa. It is really hard for me to ignore Derek in class and out but I managed. Mrs.Luh moved our seats so now i'm next to Sammy.
"Hey my second half" Sammy sits next to me
The reason why he calls me his second half is because we both have our hair dyed to a blonde color. Mine is a bleach and tone and his is platinum blonde.
"What's up Samster" I give him a quick nickname
"Lets go to a party tonight at Cameron's" He tells me
"Hmm let me check my calendar" I check my imaginary calendar
"Looks like I am free tonight" I chuckle a little
I look around and I see Derek with a clenched jaw, damn he looks so sexy when he is mad but two can play that game.
Ring~ Ring (the bell)
As I walk out to class I hear someone call my name. I turn to see it was Derek calling my name so I turn back and walk faster to my next class but he caught up to me
"what do you want Derek" I asked annoyed
"I miss you baby girl I didn't mean what I said before" He says with sorrow in his eyes
"You still said it, and I can care less anymore just go work for my dad and don't bother me again" I demanded and Derek just stood their in shock while I try to make it my class on time
I make it to my next class which was math... so boring
~Lunch~
The good thing about not having to worry about a boy is that I get to hang out with my best friend Lina.
"Hey Lina" I say walking to where she is in line
"Hey Sky" she says back
"So I heard that you were going to Cam's party with Sammy" She smirks
"Yea, but i'm not ready for a commitment or a one night stand just yet" I tell her
"Ok but just in case bring protection" she says punching he lunch code and I push her a little
We got our lunch and sat with Sammy and Cameron
"Can't wait for tonight" Cam says rubbing his hands together
"Same it's finna be turnt and I got me a cute date" Sammy says and I start blushing
"Aye Sammy Boii get it who is it" Cam says kinda loudly
"Were sitting with her right now" He says
"Your taking Lina? I thought she had this thing with an Italian guy" He looks confused and Lina and I laugh while Sam slaps his hand over his face
"No you dumbass, i'm taking Sky" He says
"Oh well treat her right or i'll kick your ass" Cam winks to me and I smile
I look over to where Derek is and he is with my brothers and their other friends but Natalie the slut is on his lap which got my blood boiling.
Derek turns towards me and I quickly turn my head I hope he didn't catch me staring. I need to move on from him but not with Sammy.
~After School~
Since Dylan got better a week ago he started playing football again which means that I walk home because I am not carpooling with Derek anymore but my father thinks I still get dropped off.
As I am about to walk it starts to rain and I didn't bring my sweater
"WHY GOD" I yell and I see a Black Range Rover pull up next to me and I see the windows roll down
"Skylar come in i'll give you a ride" Derek says
"No i'm fine walking in the rain I need the excercise anyway" I keep walking but a little faster
"Come on it's just a ride" He says while driving a little slow since I was still walking
"Fine" I gave in
"Don't talk to me and just drive me home" I demand
Derek drives toward my house but pulls over a block away
"I have to tell you something and it's important that you listen" He tells me in a serious tone
"Ok what is it" I look to him with concern
"Ok well when I lived in LA I was in another gang with The Vetalli's my father wasn't in it he was in your father's gang only, My mission was to get your family vulnerable so they can kill you guys and become the most feared family, but when I met you I knew I couldn't get you vulnerable enough, since my father died because of them I know I have to get revenge." He tells me and I slap him
" I have to tell my family, but I won't tell them that you were in on it unless you tell me who the Vetalli's are because we have been looking for them for years" I tell him
"It's Vanessa's family" He tells me and I am now in shock
