"Gem, are you sure about this?" Cas asked me, nervously, adjusting his glasses.

"Yes. There is something that we are destined to do. I can feel it," I said, packing my bag. "Have you packed yet?"

"Well, um... About that..." He said looking down as his dark brown hair falls in his face.

I sighed and yelled, "Castorpollux!"

"Shhh!" he hushed. "I don't need everyone in this orphanage to know my full name."

I took a deep breath. "I'm sorry. Just go pack, okay? We need to be out of here by nightfall."

"Nightfall? What is this, a spy mission?"

"Yes. No. Sort of! Just go pack." I said, throwing things into my tattered bag.

"Okay, okay. Yeesh. I'm 4 minutes older than you, you know."

I giggled. "Pack."

He smiled silently at his own little joke and began throwing stuff into his bag.

I was almost done packing my own bag when I got to my hand telescope. It was too rusty for me to open but I treasured it. It was the only thing I had left from my parents. I had a feeling that the destiny that we most definitely have to have had something to do with them. I didn't know exactly what that might be but I knew we would have to work hard and travel far to find out.
