The next day and a half passed without trouble, and the incident at the skating rink was all but forgotten. Chris gave you the lecture of your life when he found out, but after promising you wouldn't go out somewhere that public for the next few days and that no one knew where you were staying he calmed down somewhat. For the most part, everything was good.

Well other than what you felt every time Sans got too close to you. Now that you were aware of the odd feelings, you noticed them more and more. You found that your eyes seemed to want to follow Sans no matter where the two of you were in a room. Whenever he was close, you couldn't help but feel a bit flushed and happy, and when he moved away you wanted to follow. You liked making him laugh, which wasn't new, but now that you were more aware of him you couldn't help but try to go out of your way to see what different expressions you could coax out of him.

Jeez, what was wrong with you? It was like when you weren't really aware of the feelings they weren't noticeable at all, but now that you knew the emotions were hitting you like a freight train everyday.

After the first day of weirdness, you decided to just play if off as considering him one of your best friends. Yes, you didn't feel the same about the others you considered your best friends, but what else could it be? As part of this, you also tried to ignore your weird feelings and to do this you tried to keep busy. It wasn't hard, considering there was lots to do, but you still found it a little easier said than done. Even as you were busy playing games or decorating gingerbread houses or just watching a movie, you were still drawn to Sans.

It was getting annoying.

Anyway, currently you were outside, zoning out as you, Papyrus and Frisk built a snow-Papyrus. Frisk had decided that the yard— which had gotten a fresh couple inches of snow overnight- needed decorating. So, pretty much everyone bundled up, minus Asgore, Toriel, and Flowey, and headed outside into the cold. While the three of you built your snow-Papyrus, Undyne, Mettaton and Alphys worked on a snow-Undyne. It seemed the six of you were having an unspoken contest as to who could make their sculpture the most muscular. As you worked, you made sure to get lots of great pictures. But, eventually you finished building each respective snowman, and were looking for something else to do. It was decided that, both snowmen were equally strong as both their arms fell off. You started absent mindedly packing snow together as Frisk tried to bury Papyrus in the snow, and once you had a fairly decent snowball, came up with an idea.

"Hey Frisk." You whispered, beckoning the girl over. She stopped shoveling snow onto Papyrus and trotted over. Papyrus stood up and came over as well, brushing the snow off his bright orange sweater and red scarf. "Think we should get Sans?" You grinned, glancing over at the snoozing skeleton while tossing the snowball in your hand for emphasis. He had finally conceded to come outside after about an hour straight of pestering, but promptly lay down on the decks steps and fell asleep. How he managed to do that in this cold was beyond you.

"WON'T HE BE MAD?" Papyrus whisper yelled, trying to be quiet but sort of unable to.

"Probably." You smiled, egged on by that devil on your shoulder. "But it'll be more fun if he actually does something."

Papyrus furrowed his eyebrows still unsure. In this time Undyne, Alphys and Mettaton came over. "What are you guys whispering about?" Undyne asked, nudging Papyrus to the side to open your little circle further.

"We want to prank Sans." Frisk signed excitedly.

"H-he'll get mad." Alphys warned nervously, glancing at the snoozing skeleton.

"But that's half the fun!" Mettaton giggled. "Count me in, darlings."

"Heck yeah. I'm in too." Undyne grinned, slamming her fist into her palm.
