"Hi Gerard!" A voice came from behind him making him turn around to see Nia running towards him.

"Hi Nia." He blushed before walking with her.

"So how was your weekend?" Nia asked and her ponytail swung back and forward with her brown lips stained with a pink sheen.

"It was good...I seen you at the restaurant this weekend with your boyfriend." Gerard stated while looking down at the beautiful woman.

Nia just laughed while trying not to embarrass herself too much in front of Gerard.

"Why are you laughing?" Gerard asked confused.

"Because that was my cousin who was visiting over the weekends...and I don't have a boyfriend." Gerard had to hold back his smile as she spoke.

"Are you coming out with us tomorrow? For the team dinner?" Gerard asked and Nia nodded sweetly.

"Yes are you?" Gerard nodded in response. "That's great."

Gerard wanted to talk to her more.

To hold her in his arms.

To kiss her.

Protect her.

Love her.

But they had to go their separate ways once training started.
