Who am I??

Sheena's POV

"He was my friend..."I said to myself and continued to cry alone.

"I am still your friend...." Came a voice from behind. I turned to see Jeremy standing near me, shadowing me. I quickly turned my gaze to the ground.

"Friends don't betray." I stated without looking at him, fighting with my tears.

I got up and started going back to the castle. I walked past him, when I felt his hand on my arm. He turned me to face him but I kept my eyes down, not wanting them to meet his.

"Please look at me, just once." He pleaded. I slowly looked up to find Jeremy's guilt ridden face. His eyes were glassy with his own tears.

"Believe me, Sheena. I never thought of hurting you intentionally. I admit I do tried to kill you but after that I changed my mind. I saw how beautiful you are in person." He sounded a little shaky." I know I am a bad person, you can call me a killer but I did all this because I wanted to get out of Verena,I wanted to get away from my uncle."

"I am a changed person now. Please forgive me, Sheena. Give me a chance" he finished.

I could sense sincerity in his voice. I am in a very confused state. Where my heart wants to trust him and give him a chance but my mind says just the opposite. Should I go with my mind or with my heart....

"I promise you Sheena I won't let anyone harm you. You don't even know what you mean to me...." I couldn't control it no more and huged him.

"Promise me you will never betray me again." I whispered.

"I promise." He said solidly.

Then we when separated from our hug, he placed his hand on my hand. I felt his hand was getting hot. I mean it was like he is having fever or something. I jerked my hand of and placed it on his forehead to check his temperature.

"Are you having fever?" I asked.

"I-I don't know, I am feeling strange...." He was breathing heavily. "I'll see you later." Then he ran into the woods.

"Jeremy, wait!!" I called but he didn't stopped.

"Let him go.." Someone said from behind. I turned around to see Arjun standing there in his usual ripped jeans and black shirt. "He need that. He need to know about himself." He mumbled to himself but was loud enough for me to hear.

"What are you talking about?" Will he stop talking in riddles...

"I think you should ask this to Jeremy when comes back. Till then let's get you back to the castle." He started moving and I followed him without any further argument because I didn't know the way to castle.

I hope Jeremy will be alright.....

Jeremy's POV

"Ah!" I groaned in pain while I was running deep into the forest.

I was feeling so strange. Like my every muscle is breaking apart and joining again. I could literally hear my every bone breaking, cracking by my every step.

Suddenly my leg hit a root of a tree and I fell flat on the ground. I groaned from the pain again. My eyes suddenly fell on my hand. New hair was growing at the back of my hand and my nails were growing with a rapid speed. Samething was having with my other hand.

I grew frightened and my heart was beating hard my chest. I could feel my temperature rising. What's happening to me?!!!

"Help!!!" I screamed as those weird hair started growing in my whole body and I converted into something that I never believe could exist.
