Day 299

As practices for annual day are now on full go,I have less or no choice to move my two left feet to the song I don't even understand to lyrics of.

The only words I can recognise are Ala bamba...

The dance group (that one which has Katie, Ramona, Mira, Meghan, Rachel, etc) are dancing on Flashlight by Jessie J.

The latest addition to this is What do you mean by Justin Bieber. The whole class is performing on this one. Well everyone except the dance group.

Things have been going well. I have come to accept that I wouldn't fit in. So I have decided to stand out and do what I do the best.

Be weird.

Meghan and I haven't fought in a while and that is something I call as progress. We aren't exactly best of friends but I guess we are just civil with each other.

Rachel still becomes extremely jealous and possessive. Max, being the ass he is, makes her jealous on purpose.
Like there was this time when our group had to take a picture together. The group which initially consisted of Ramona and me. Ramona did the most work and I helped her. The only work he did was make design on the borders with Ramona's sketch pens.

Well that wasn't the thing.

He stood next to me when our class teacher was taking the picture jus to annoy Rachel.

It didn't bother me at first. But them when I started feeling utterly used, I started maintaining my distance.

"We talk less or don't talk at well. Well except when he takes my guitar without my permission. " I tell Samuel.

"And does that bother you?" He asks.

"At first, part of me was hurt that he just comes to me when he wants something. Then I just gave up."

He doesn't say anything.

It is ten at night. Samuel and I are walking in the park. He insisted on meeting and catching up. So here we are under the starlight, just walking.

"Did I tell you what happened today morning?"

When he still doesn't say anything I elaborate.

"The put up a video in the class and there was this girl in the video who Max apparently found hot when everyone thought otherwise. Later he announced that even I was prettier than her. She is not pretty at all." I say.

"The class went crazy listening to that. Everyone started teasing. I don't think anyone realized how hurt I was."

"Why do you let him do it? You deserve way better. You should have said something." He says.

"I did." I say smiling.

"What?" He asks raising his eyebrow.

"Well I told him that I am glad he finds me prettier than her because he looks exactly like her."

Samuel's frown broke into a big grin.

"Unfortunately he couldn't hear me." I say.

"Well I think he is stupid. You are pretty. Very pretty." He say giving me an appreciative nod.

"Why? Thank you. You are quite an eye candy too."

He laughs.

"Are you flirting with me miss?" He asks in a fake British accent.

"Indeed I am sir."

"Oooooo someone learned to flirt. My girl is all grown up." He says ruffling my hair.

"What can I say? You spoil me." I say messing his hair up too.

"Excuse me? I do not! You got spoiled yourself!"

"Aww, is someone mad?" I coed pulling his cheek.

He swats my hand as I laugh and then smiles.

"Keep laughing, you look more beautiful than you are. If he makes you cry, he isn't worth it. No guy is worth your hearts and the one who is wouldn't make you cry."

I crack a smile.

"When did you become all philosophical?"

"Well, let's just say you get the best out of me."

"Oreo shake?" He asks me.

"Oreo shake." I grin.
