chapter 6

Once we got to school we were almost late, So we didn't have time to talk to anybody. School went by really fast and before I knew it, Cory and I were on our way home. I started to get bored so I turned on the radio and the song 'She will be loved' By maroon five came on.

"Knock on my window, Knock on my door I wanna make you feel beautiful........... I don't mind spending everyday, Out on you're corner in the pourin rain. Look for the girl with the broken smile, Ask her if she want's to stay a while and she will be loved, and she will be loved" I sang, Looking out the window

"I swear, One day you are gonna be famous" Cory said while glancing over at me and quickly looking back at the road

"Shut up" I said with a smile

"No. You are an amazing singer. Remind me again why you don't go on any singing shows?" Asked Cory

"Because if I can sing half as good as you say, Than I wanna be famous because I made it happen, Not some other person" I answered truthfully

"Have you wrote any new song's?" asked Cory. Yes I do right song's, I guess it's sort of keeping a diary in my own special way. ( I'll tell you guy's more about this in the A/N)

"Actually yeah" I answered and I looked at him to see him grinning

"That's awesome, Isn't it easier now that I taught you how to play the guitar?" Cory said turning on the corner down from our houses

"Yeah, I guess" I said as we pulled into his drive way and we got out of the car

"Bye Cory, I'm gonna go home and be lazy for the rest of the day and just think" I informed Cory

"Okay, Are you coming for dinner?" Cory asked

"I think I'll just stay home" I said as I started walking away. I got to my door and pulled my key out of my pocket, Since Amber was at work and nobody was home. I walked in the house and fixed me something to eat, I got me a banana and mayo sandwiched ( trust me it's good. You just chop up the banana and spread some mayo on both side's of the bread and then put the pieces of banana on it) and took it up to my room, I sat my plate on my shelf in my room and changed into my yoga pants and a T-shirt. I flipped through some chanle's on my T.V until I finally settled on the show 'Friends" My favorite person on there is Joey. After I finished my sandwiched, I figured I needed to think about some things.

So with everything that has happened with my dad, I really don't know if I forgive him or not, But if I want him better, than I guess I'll let him think I do. I'm not sure how I feel about Amber, But if I don't do anything about getting to know her better than Cory will make me sooner or later.  So today in class Charlie was starring at me and smiled at me, I sound like a total girl but I can't help it! He make's my stomach do funny thing's, I think I like him because he is one of Cory's friends so I know he is a good guy right? I mean Cory was making joke's about me and Charlie so I think he approve's, Which is great. Cory is important to me, He know's thing's that I would not tell another living soul, I love Cory like a best friend of course. Cody on the other hand, I love him like a brother, We look out for each other and we only tell each other what we need to know and that's how we like it. Abbi is like a sister kind of, We don't get to talk to each other one on one very often, But when we do  there is no stopping us until we talked about everything. Layla is the random one of the group, You can't help but love her.

I looked at the clock and it was about four thirty, So I turned on some music and layed down and thought I would take a nap until I heard my phone ding, I picked it up and unlocked it and noticed there was a text from Cody

Loverboy;) : Heyyy tori

me : Hiiii Loverboy lol

Loverboy;) : What r u doing right now at this moment!?

me : uh.....I'm laying on my bed haha.. whyyyy?

Loverboy;)  : Because I'm coming to get you

me : What! Why!?

Loverboy;) : Because I'm bored and figured me,u,Cory,Abbi and Layla could all do something

me : Like  what?

Loverboy;) : Like go to the movie's and watch the conjuring :)

me : No thank u lol

After I sent that my phone started playing thousand year's by Christina Perrie and I looked at the caller ID and it said Loverboy

"Hello" I said a little annoyed, I just want to stay home

"Why don't you wanna come" Cody asked 

"Because I'm tired and I have no idea what the 'conjuring' is" I answered

"HAVE YOU BEEN LIVING UNDER A ROCK!!!' Cody screamed in the phone

"No,Just haven't heard of it" I said with a giggle

"It's a scary movie and if you come I'll buy you dinner" Cody said that knowing I would say yes because I love food

"In that case,Yes I'll go but we better eat somewhere good" I said 

Cody laughed and then said "I just pulled up to Layla's house now and than you're next" And with that he hung up 

"Well bye to you too" I said out loud

And than Cory called me

"Yes" I answered a little harsh but fixed it with a laugh

"Calm down haha. Cody told me about later and you might wanna dress up" Cory said and I felt a little offended

"Uh why" I asked 

"Because yelling at me is not nice" He said not getting what I asked him. Oh my Lord he really is special

"No! I mean about me dressing up" I said stating the obvious

"Oh because I invited Charlie and Samantha" he said as if it was nothing

"Cha-Charlie" I asked freaked out

"Yes Charlie. Calm down you'll be fine. But you should put on your Auburn football jersey Because he is an Auburn fan" Cory said trying to help me out

"Okay. Bye" I said hanging up. Well this is great!

Okay breathe tori, Breathe. I walked to my closet and pulled out my jersey and a pair of dark skinny jeans, Since my jersey is blue,orange and white and it's all dark accept the white (obviously), So I put on a little foundation, Face powder and a thin line of eye liner on my top eye lid and then the bottom and lip gloss, Than straightened my hair. Cody came busting through my door with Layla close behind and I gave them the 'wtf ' look

"Sup tori" Cody said watching me finish my hair

"Finishing getting ready" I said as I finished the last piece of hair. and I put on my converse and now I'm done

"You look pretty tori" Layla said with a smile. Layla looked pretty too, She was wearing a pink sun dress, Which looked pretty and her sandy blond hair was curled

"Thank you, So do you" I said

"Yeah she does" Cody commented while we walked out of my room and Layla blushed bright red

we walked out of the house and Layla and I got in the back seat of Cody's truck and Cody got in the driver seat and then Abbi Got in the back seat and Cory got in the passenger seat....
