Bella's POV

It's a Monday morning and of course that means that I have to go to school. I groaned as I woke up and checked my phone. I had a good morning text from Sam.

Sam: Hey Beautiful. On a scale of 1 to 10, how sleepy are you?

Bella: 11. Wanna walk to school with me today?

Sam: Actually, I'm gonna be late today. I got a dentist appointment :(

Bella: Hopefully you don't have any cavities :P Have fun! Love youuu ;)

Sam: Love you more!

I  went to my closet and I got dressed in a white crop top with a black cross on it, distressed high waisted shorts, and worn black converse. I wanded my hair into loose curls and I braided my hair into a half up-half down look.

There's a video to the right explaining how to do the hairstyle that Bella has.

As I walked down the road, a car pulled up next to me. I didn't know whether to run, hide, or both but once I saw who was in the car, my worries went away.

"Hey Jc!" I greeted.

"Hey Bella! Want a ride to school?" Jc asked.

"That'd be great!" I cheered as I hopped into the passengers seat. "So where are you going?"

"I'm pretty much car-pooling everyone. I'm on my way to Awesomeness TV to pick up Jenn and Andrea but on the way there I have to pick up Kian and drop him off at school. I saw you and I thought I should give you a ride."

"Wow! I must be pretty special if you decided to give me a ride with a busy schedule like yours." I teased.

"No, I'm just a really good friend." Jc laughed.

"Wow, way to make a girl feel down." I fake-pouted.

"Fine, you're special." Jc sighed.

"It doesn't mean anything now because you waited too long to say it. God, Jc. Get with it!"

Jc and I laughed as we pulled up into Kian's driveway. We waited for 2 minutes and then Jc honked the horn. Still no Kian.

"Maybe he's running late." I suggested.

"Maybe. But if he's late then you're gonna be late." Jc pointed out.

"True, but I don't mind." I shrugged.

"You sure? I can just leave and take you there." Jc offered.

"No, really. I'm good." I assured him. "You see, we gotta disect a frog in biology today and I'd give anything just to skip that."

"Really? You don't take me as a girl who's afraid of that kind of stuff." Jc told me.

"Don't judge a book by it's cover, Caylen."

I turned my head and looked out the window. I saw a girl walking towards Kian's house and it scared the living crap out of me.

"Ohmigod!" I said and I immediately ducked so she wouldn't see me.

"Wha--" Jc said but I pulled him down with me. "Why are we ducking?"

"That's Allie! Why is she here?" I asked in a whisper.
