RECAP!!

I grabbed my penny board and started skating down the street. I checked my phone as I skated and saw that I got a tweet from a fan saying that I need to listen to this song. It's called Wake Me Up by Avicii. I love Avicii so I decided to listen to it. I pressed play and the song played loudly out of my iPhone. I caught onto the song pretty quickly.

"So wake me up when it's all over. When I'm wiser and I'm older. All this time I was finding myself and I didn't know I was lost." I sang and I rolled down the street.

All of a sudden, I heard a car honking at me and next thing I know, I'm flipped over the car and collapsed onto the road. Everything was black from there.

Jc's POV

I arrived at Bella's house and rang the doorbell. I saw Aria wobble down the stairs and she opened the door.

"Hey Jc!" Aria greeted as she let me in the house.

"Hey Aria. How's the baby?" I asked.

"Fine I guess. My back is killing me though." Aria explained.

I sighed. "Well, it's all part of being pregnant."

"How would you know? Were you pregnant at 18 too?" Aria teased.

"Yeah, cuz I'm just that type of girl." I joked. "So where's Bella?"

"Um, I don't know. I thought she'd be back by now. It usually doesn't take her this long." Aria said. "Maybe there was a long line."

"Or maybe there's traffic." I suggested.

"Um, she didn't go on a highway, Jc. Besides, she took her penny board."

"She should be back soon then. Any minute now I suppose. So what's up with you lately? Anything happen in the past 4 hours that I haven't seen you?" I asked.

"Besides taking my pain killers and putting the heating pad on my back then no. Nothing's happened."

"That sounds...fun?"

"It's a thrill!" she said sarcastically and then her phone rang.

"Hello?" Aria said into her phone. "Wait, what?!?"

"What? What happened?!?" I asked her but she held her finger up to let me know she'd tell me in a second.

"What happened? How'd you know?" Aria asked worriedly. "Yeah, I'll be there as soon as I can. Thanks, bye."

"WHAT?!?" I asked.

"Bella's in the hospital. She flipped over a car and has a concussion." Aria explained as she grabbed her purse. "That was her mom on the phone. She said that she can't be here so she needs me to go. Coming?"

"Hell yeah I'm coming!" I said and we both ran as fast as we could to my car.

Hospital--1:23 a.m.

Aria and I sat quietly in the waiting room. So many thoughts were rolling through my mind. What if she's not okay? This could be bad. Like, really bad!

I looked over at Aria who was biting her nails.

"Is it bad that I'm not crying?" Aria asked me as she fumbled with a loose thread on her shirt.

"No." I said. " You're just in shock I guess. She's gonna be fine. She always is."

I saw her wince and hold her stomach and then she leaned back in her chair and took deep breaths.
