Brooke was so confused. Should she call child protection services? should she call Cat and beg her to let her stay? or Should she just try to survive on her own?
After she had walked about 2 blocks away from her house she decided she would go to Cat's house and see if she could stay there until everything got figured out.
She bravely knocked on Cat's door. When Cat answered the door Brooke noticed something different about her. Cat no longer was wearing a pink dress and purple high heels, she was wearing worn out converse sneakers, jean shorts and a t-shirt.
"Woah" whispered Brooke, "you look so different!" Cat said nervously, "Hey Brooke I've been waiting to tell you, I want to be a tomboy like you!" Brooke just stood there as a huge smile came onto her face.
"So are we still best friends?" Pleaded Brooke. "Of course!" Cat said as she gave Brooke a big, warm and caring hug.
