Alone

"Olivia, Lewis is dead" Dr Lindstorm says
"But, it's like he's not. He's always around" she explains
"What do you mean?"
"I will hear foot steps, or a shadow walk past me, or his breath, on my neck" she explains, trying to hold back the tears.
"When does this happen Olivia?"
"Right now"

She makes herself a cup of coffee and drinks it before going into her bedroom. She gets changed and gets into her bed. She slowly drifts off to sleep. Not because she wants to, but because have has had a long day, and sleep just takes over her body.

"Hello Olivia" the voice she knows only too well says.
"What are you doing here?" She asks
"I came to see you" he says as he caresses her hip from behind.
She flinches at his touch.
"Oh Olivia. Don't be shy with me now. We're past that, don't you think?" He says with that voice that sends shivers down her spine.

She jumps up out of her bed, as she wakes up from her dream.
When she realises it is just a dream she lays back against the head board and sighs. She glances over at the clock and sees that it's 3:45.
She sighs again as she realises that she won't be able to fall back to sleep now.
Her heart beat increases as she also realises that she isn't alone in her bedroom.
