The Last Chimera •

"Stiles! I got here as soon as I could. How is he?" Kelsey said when she saw the boy sitting on a chair next to his dad's hospital room. A few hours had passed since she last talked to Liam, but Mason had texted her saying that he was looking for Hayden. Somehow the beta thought that she was still alive.

"They don't know. He's stable for now, but Theo did something to him and they don't know what it was. But thanks for being here. You know, with all that happened with Scott and the rest, I thought I was going to be here alone." The boy told the girl sitting by his side. He was worried sick about his father, and going trough all of this alone seemed like hell.

"Yeah I know, don't worry. But I'm not on best terms with Liam either." Kelsey said trying to smile at him, but it didn't work so well. She was still hurt about what Liam had done. He betrayed his friends and was about to kill his own alpha if she wouldn't have showed up and screamed for him to stop.

After that they just sat in silence until Nurse McCall came to talk to them.
"He's okay. Dr. Geyer is stitching him up right now."

"Okay, I wanna see him." Stiles said getting up.

"The anesthesia needs to wear off. It's gonna be at least two hours." Melissa told him.

"Okay, yeah, but everything's gonna be okay though. I mean, he's okay?"

"He's gonna be just fine." The woman answer the worried boy.

"Oh, thank god."

"What do you mean you don't know? Two hours ago he was fine. Now it looks like somebody took a baseball bat to his neck." Stiles said to the doctors.

"There could've been some minor internal." Dr. Geyer told him.

"Did you say, 'minor internal'? Since when is anything internal minor?"

"Stiles." Melissa warned him.

"I need to know what's going on with him, okay? Dr. Geyer, somebody needs to tell me what's happening. Somebody needs to tell me what's happening to him!"

Seeing that nobody answer him, Kelsey did.
"They don't know." She realized by the look on their faces that she was right. They had no idea what was happening to him.

Suddenly Stiles started running towards the door, and they all saw how he pushed Scott back.

"Where were you?! You trusted him. You believed him. So where were you Scott?! Where the hell were you?!" Stiles screamed.

"Hey, hey, hey!" Melissa screamed.

"Stiles, stop it!" Kelsey said trying to pull him back, while Melissa was grabbing Scott.

"Your dad's not the only one who got hurt." Scott said once they were no longer fighting.

"Oh, you'll heal." Stiles said not caring about him at the moment.

"I'm not talking about me."

After Stiles and Kelsey saw Lydia, they realized she was catatonic. And it was Theo's fault.

Now they were in a room with Scott and Melissa trying to figure out what to do next.

"It was Theo digging his way trough her mind." Kelsey explained.

"Why would he do that? What is he looking for?" Melissa asked.

"The same thing he's always looking for." Stiles said.

"An advantage." Kelsey finished.

"So what did he gain by trying to kill Stilinski?" The nurse wondered.

"It left me alone with Liam. Theo wanted to make sure no one would be there to stop him from killing me." Scott said.

"Okay, so he gutted my dad as a distraction." Stiles said.

"We need to find him." The human girl said.

"Isn't that a little dangerous. Especially since he almost killed my kid?"

"Yeah, but he said he didn't want my dad to die."

"And you believe him?" Kelsey asked.

"He told me where to find him. So, maybe he also knows how to save him." Stiles told them.

"What do you want to do? Talk to him?" Melissa asked.

"If it saves my dad, then yeah." Stiles replied.

"I'll come with you. He doesn't know that I'm alive. Maybe that gives us an advantage." Scott suggested.

"I just need to talk to him. Not fight him."

"Stiles you can't go alone." Kelsey told him.

"You're not coming?" Stiles asked her.

"No, I can't. I have to do something first." She really wanted to go and help Stiles. But there was something important she needed to do.

"Does anyone even know how to find him?" Melissa said.

"We don't have to find him. He'll come to me."

"Hello Miss. How can I help you?" The man behind the counter asked Kelsey.

"I'm here to see Dr. Valack."
