Dan's POV
We were sitting in my hospital bed cuddling. I had a protective arms on his belly. It has been a week since I almost died and we haven't had another since.
"Phil we really need to talk about this", I said motioning to his belly.
"What? Don't you still want it?" He asked.
He looked hurt that I might not want the baby.
"I'm dying... I have less than a week before I am going to die... Are you sure you can raise this child alone?"
He climbed out of my arms and sat across from me.
"You better not be suggesting what I think you are", He glared at me.
"I am only suggesting it because I don't want you to have to raise this baby on your own", I sighed.
He stood up.
"No... No... I am raising this baby... It is all I will have left of you after you die. I'm keeping it. I am not having an abortion", He growled and walked out of the room.
I sat their staring at the door that Phil left through hoping and praying it won't be the last time I will see him.
About an hour later the door opened.
"Phil", I cheered.
When I looked over I didn't see Phil. I saw some doctor I have never met.
"Hello Dan... I am your new doctor. My name is Dr. Butler", he greeted.
"Where is Dr. Jonas?"
"I don't know. He left", Dr. Butler stated.
Left?
"I am going to get you some new tests to make sure there is nothing we can do", He smiled.
I just nodded. A nurse came in and took the bed.
Maybe if there is something I could do I can be a father with Phil... If he ever comes back...
