"Ya?" Ashlyn said groggily while rolling over to face Ali who was snuggled up to her side. "Today is the day!"
"What day is it again? And why are you so happy?"
"Ugh I am so offended. But today is the last day of camp and...the first Spirit practice!" Ali squealed
"Why is that a good thing though?"
"Because you get to hangout with me more and I get to hangout with you more, which is my favorite activity"

"ALI IM GONNA MISS YOU SO MUCH!" Kelley fake sobbed
"I will miss you too Kel. And besides I will see you when Sky Blue plays the Spirit in a few weeks"
"True that homie". As the team said their goodbyes, Ali found Heather and hugged her tight
"Good first camp bud, we've come a long way and I am so grateful for our friendship" "Right back at ya!" HAO gushed.
"I don't mean to rush you Ali but our flight leaves in an hour so we should probably get going" Ashlyn politely interrupted
"No no you're right. Bye everyone we will miss you and we love all of you!" Ali and Ashlyn said as they made their way to the airport.
"Favorite type of pasta?"
"Really Ash? Umm ok spaghetti. Favorite country you've been to?". Ali and Ashlyn were on the flight to the Spirit camp in Washington D.C and they were playing a game to get to know each other and to pass the time.
"Sharks: a true story"
"What? Is that even a book?"
"Yup. You wanna see it?"
"Haha no I'm all set. I am going to go ahead and just take your word for it" they both laughed at Ashlyn's cute obsession with sharks.
"Attention all passengers please prepare for landing"
"Ash we are finally here!"
"Haha you're not wrong. Let's get our room"

"It feels so cool to not be the backup goalie and actually get playing time" Ashlyn confessed
"Awe Ash I think you are good enough to start on the national team"

"Really" Ali said kissing Ashlyn's cheek.
